No idea. Probably a copy of the original tape which was apparently released in the UK in 1983/1984. Enjoy :)

Really ? Didn't I upload it this some years ago as a part of the "Best of the best " series ? Well Martin is a fair guy, if he promises to keep something rare, he will, even when it's shared online :-)

Actually, I uploaded this on here a few years ago from my original cassette tape (which has since bit the dust). Difference was I had only saved my copy to mp3 (192 kbps). If there is a short gap before the Pavanne Finale, then it is most likely from my tape as it was at that point I had to flip the tape over to record on the other side.

Maki has a copy of the files I uploaded on her site, but for some reason she reduced the bitrate......

*edit*

Just finished downloading this torrent and this isnt my version for two reasons:-

1 - it has the bit of the show I missed
2 - its sped up. The Pavane, for instance, is actually in Dm

I have a copy of this tape obtained directly from Capitol Radio (i.e. not recorded from the radio).  I can upload a copy if anyone would like it.

For anyone who's interested, the piece of music Brian and the students are playing is called 'Belle, qui tiens ma vie' and it's a late 16th century song written by Thoinot Arbeau.
