These are DVD .VOB files so you can either burn a DVD or play them directly or convert to mpeg or whatever. It's pretty big, around 4GB. Hope it works.

I'm on to 20kbps now...seems the more people who jump on, the faster upload speed I get. presumably once I've uploaded 4.2GB or whatever it is, everyone will have the whole thing between them so I can leave you lot to it? By my reckoning that will be some time on Monday morning...

Maybe when it's finally finished someone in the know could convert it to FLAC or mp3 and seed it? Should only be around 500MB as FLAC or 100MB as mp3.

The video is well worth the extra wait though. Best we've got so far from this tour, as it's the only bit that's been professionally filmed and televised!

After downloading this big file, is it possible to convert it to vcd with Nero and burn it to watch it on my dvd player as a vcd instead of a dvd?

Yeah you should be able to, I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Perhaps I should have covnerted it to mpeg or something myself, but I thought I might as well let people have the best possible quality.

You can play the DVD files on your computer though...and there's almsot certainly a way of converting to mpeg, but I suspect it takes quite a long time to do. I'm sure an mpeg will surface soon after this one gets distributed properly. And an mp3 version would be nice as well. I would make it, but the only way I know of is recording using sound recorder which means I'd have to leave the computer on for an hour and not be able to use it!

PS Tried downloading this but it is very slow at the moment - if someone can send me a copy of the dvd I promise to copy it and send it to at least 10 other memebers of the forum for free (well, free to them financially but hopefully they will pass on the goodwill)

I wouldn't waste my time with this download solely due to the fact that the bands performance was way below par that night. Only Katie Malua and the childrens quire were worth the watch on streaming media.

Once a few people have 50% or more of the torrent, the speeds will start to increase I'm sure. I'm leaving my computer on overnight - I won't be surprised if I've uploaded 2+GB by the time I get back to my computer.

Can you tell us which files they are, so we can not download them (those of us using bittorrent clients that can skip individual files within a torrent).

What you say may well be true (and judging by the bits I've seen I can't argue) but the fact it is the first gig by this line up makes it more interesting and therefore more relevant to some fans. That's why I would like a copy, for the event more than the actual quality of the performance.

Thanks very much for this, and thanks for NOT posting a crappy low quality VCD. C'mon people, let's keep the high quality stuff coming and not share crap. That includes MP3s.

With high speed internet these days, we should not encode audio shows to lossy formats and DVD quality video to VCD or even SVCD. Step up and buy a DVD burner, they are as cheap as CD burners now and just as easy to use. I'll get down off my soap box now.

Ok, I'm having some trouble getting Azureus to start this downloading, as it's saying the VTS_01_4 and _05 are missing. I know these are the blank files, but I can only presume someone has changed the torrent files after posting the .torrent file. Bit of help?

In other news, I've got rid of the yellow smiley, but it's still only pulling around 20kbps. Surely Broadband is supposed to be much faster than this?

I'm sure various versions will appear soon, but at the moment I'm the only person on 100%, everyone else is on around 25% max.

What I will say, however, is I have no objections whatsoever to people doing whatever they like to the files. Some people ask that they're not covnerted to mp3 or whatever - but I don't mind. Do what you like with it :-)

I don't care how long it takes, I've got 23% now. If it takes 4 days, so what? I run XP it's damn stable now. Besides, it'll move a lot faster once there are a few seeders. Don't hit and run!

I'm getting a good d/l rate of 50kb+ now. About 15 1/2 hours to go lol! Provided I can keep deleting old large files off my hard drive to accomidate it...!

ATTENTION! With Azureus you can SELECT which files you want and which not! So I simple set the 2 last vob's on status "not downloading".

ALSO: if you want the reaming vob's on a DVD simple use an authoring programme like Nero Vision 3 or TMPGENC DVD author, add the vob's, make a menu, compile the files and burn,baby burn! yeah! :-)

Well if it takes say 3 days to share this via torrent it would take about the same time to upload this to a newsgroup if that was a dedicated upload. But as the poster is already sharing this via torrent it would take approx. twice as long for both if he decided to post it to a newsgroup as well; so how would that be quicker and easier!

I'm currently seeing 27 peers and 0 seeders, with a whopping 2kb d/l speed. Looks like it might be a long month or so.

I'd be more than willing to convert this to .avi, .mpg, flac audio, .mp3, .shn or anything else that may seem desirable. That i, of course, providing the download ever finishes.

btw... has it been ABSOLUTELY confirmed that that the last 2 .vob files are "blank"? Seems a bit odd that there would be nearly 2 gigs of nothingness.

We all seem to be stuck at 43.7% at 4:31am (EST), I guess you went to sleep Elessar. Figured I'd keep you updated. Thank you so so much for even uploading this! I have uploaded torrents to webpages in the past, and I know how annoying it can be waiting for people to get the whole file, especially something this large. I will keep seeding however, hopefully this will help take some of the stress off your upload speed, since I seem to be uploading at a pretty decent speed myself. To answer your question, yes, when your progress reaches 100% or your ratio is 1.000 that would mean that the file has been sent completly to someone. Hope that helps.

That's true, but again, he's doing this for us fans... It would be easier for me and so many others who get a low download rate with this torrent thing.

Depends what bit torrent client you are using, but theoreticaly, yes-when you reach 1.00 that should indicate there is at least 1 copy of every piece out there. BUT..it could be that one single piece was seeded to someone who has given up or stopped for whetver reason abd tht would mean that, if you went offline straight away, there would probably not be a full copy within the cofines of the currently active seeders and leechers, so it's a good idea to waituntil you see tow or three other with full copies before disconnecting.

Your speed is quite good-most internet connecion download at much faster rates than they upload. For instance, on NTLworld, I am on their 3MB download service, but upload is only 105 of that, so I can never get over 30-ish kbps.

It's taken straight from South African TV, so there is a commercial break halfway through the set (maybe someone will get rid of it and covnert it to mpeg or whatever - I wanted to just leave it as it was so people can do what they like) and the set opens with TYMD immediately after a break, i.e. no introduction from Will Smith. But other than that it's the whole damned thing.

Yes, my torrent program shows, there are 0,517 distributed copies, which means there are approx. 51,7 % of the whole file among peers. After this will be more than 1 (ie. 100 %), then the whole file is distributed among peers. If you stop seeding after this, all should be OK. If you stop before, we must wait to your returning :-))

BTW, share ratio number says nothing here (if you are original seeder of file).

Some people need to learn some patience. It's a 4Gb DVD, of course it will take time.

Ive spent 4 days downloading some dvds so im well aware how long these things can take.As Ive said before i will try and burn copies for( a couple) others once ive finished,to save them time doing it themselves.Then maybe then they can burn copies for other people and so on.

Are you in super-seeder mode? When I seed for the first time here, I was only in standard seeder mode, and it seems to me slower and I uploaded more than 1 times too (maybe 1,5 times, I don't remember exactly). With second torrent I tried super-seeder and it seemed to be better to me - quicker with less upload.

I thought I was but I wasn't. I am now. I reckon the availability will be 2 this time tomorrow.

Nice, but sorry to say that there are four mistakes on the cover.
First the songtitles are on the front of the cover and the dvd-title is on the back, it's Rodgers, not Rogers, it's not Fat Bottom Girls, but Fat Bottomed Girls and the campaign is 46664, not 4664. Perhaps you can change this?

I've been downloading it since Monday nonstop,I'm at 94.4%,with roughly 4 hours remaining.My computer really needs a shutdown,but I'll keep it open at least through Friday,so others can finish.

I completely agree with Mr.Guru.

The way I see it - when completed - I will have a new DVD FREE. The least I can do is share this wealth in return. It is called common decency or honour.

Behind me in the queue are about 100 guys ranging from 1.1 - 90%. To cut off these seeds in favour of snail-mail delivery, is not acceptable in all cases. For example: for some guy in Brazil to receive such a disc - to burn, post and deliver can take up to 10 days - so where is the advantage - except a justification for cutting off one's seeding? It ceratinly does not favour the guys still in the queue.

I too will switch off my PC in the morning so that it can be "refreshed", but it is no problem to re-switch the torrent on again - so that means it will be off-line for all of what - 10 minutes?

Frankly, I think the file is too large for me to keep on my hard drive for a permanent period, but certainly, I could see no problems in keeping it there for a week or two, which should provide comfort to those who are still downloading as I write.

I can't believe for the past few days I forgot to turn my PC on to continue d/ls this through the day while i'm at college... lol oh well, shall leave it on tonight. 71.4% currently

Yes, I'm going to use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make the cuts and my own menus. Looks pretty good from the quick previews I played earlier.

Hmm, I've tried making my own menus etc with TMPGEnc DVD Author, but it's not recognising that a DVD is there?! I'm downloading the final two files anyway now to see if that makes a difference.

Thats what i planned to do. Tmpg is choosy about the files it accepts.

Don't look for the DVD to add in TMPGENC, use add file and add the first 3 vob's !

PS Nero Vision recodes your video meaning less quality as endresult, TMPGENC doesn't, so i only use Nero for xvid/divx , for original vob's I use TMPGENC!

Tmpg is piss easy to use and the results are surprisingly good!

This evenening I have watched this concert in full and the quality of sound and vision is satisfying. Just showing 4 tracks on the internet sure didn't do justice to the whole performance. When they had shown the concert in full perhaps some opinions about the show could have been different. No, regarding the fact this was their first public performance from this tour, the show was okay to me.

I have restarted my PC. The torrent is still on my desk top. It has not been removed. It reads done, share ratio 96%.

It is neither uploading or downloading. It just sits there. How do I get it to upload to you guys?
There seems to be nothing in settings.

I would keep mine on for another night but I've had it on for 5 nights now, and I've uploaded 7GB, so I won't be doing any more tongiht. I'll put it on in the morning though to give you all a good 8 hours or so while I'm at school.

That's it fixed. I had overspent my "share ratio". (It was set to automatically stop after I uploaded 96%). I have now increased that to 500%.

This now means that (depanding on speed of uploads) I will be seeding for about the next 13 days.

So there is now at least ONE guaranteed 100% seed.

Well there are now 26 seeds, 109 peers and 46 distributed copies. You will notice that a lot of people are either new to downloading torrents or new to downloading a dvd torrent. I suspect that most of them don't realise that you can view the dvd files and reauthor/burn the dvd without stopping seeding. Without tracker stats I have no idea if the extra seeds are newly completed downloads or those that have viewed/burnt the dvd and have resumed seeding.

The other thing to consider is that I 'finished' my download nearly 24 hours ago, but won't be shown as a seeder as I have elected not to download the last 2 blank vob files. I don't know if all bit torrent clients treat this in the same way (I am using Azureus). However I will be 'seeding' this for at least a few more days.

Hmm my computer is rebooting occasionally which makes things annoying.

I don't know a lot about torrent, it seems for the first hour of starting the download again I'm lucky to get about 4k or 5k and the longer I leave it the higher the speed but nothing majorly substancial, maybe 30kbs if I'm lucky and thats with a 2mb connection and with quite a few people sharing. Is there anything I'm not doing or is there any tricks to using torrent?

Well, a week later I started to download this, I'm at 45%. I have started and finished downloading many Queenzone torrents meanwhile. At first I had stopped all of the other torrents, so that this would be faster, but it just won't! It is always around less than 1kbps and 8kpbs. It never reached the peaks of 30 or even 60Kbps I get with all of the other torrents, and I wonder why.

This torrent is at the same time the bigger and the slower I was ever involved in. I am really affraid that by the end of the next weekend, which is my calculation of when I'm finishing this, it won't be available anymore. :/

the font that is, in my view, used in "Paul Rodgers" and "European Tour" is Gouldy Oldstyle. I think that's a rather common font in Windows.

Having the same problem as shooter... think it may be due to another post by "depdawg".

He is sharing the same concert in mp3, but with the same torrent heading as the dvd being offered. Is there a chance the tracker is mixing them up?

I'm trying to download this torrent but It just looks for the mp3 version as posted elsewhere (68 Meg) instead of the DVD.

Agneepath!: I initially had trouble with the files, but I d/l both of the two 'static' files to complete the folder, and then it decided to work! Now I get an error when outputting the finished DVD from TMPG that the audio bitrate is too much. I can still export it, but was concered it may effect burning and playback on a DVD player. We'll see.

Im downloading the brixton academy show.Its has 4 songs missing from the end,but is filmed close to the stage.

This is weird. I burnt the 46664 concert to DVD+R, and when I play it in PowerDVD now (and it NEVER did this when I tried the first VOB file out), it plays with an aspect ratio of 16:9 Widescreen!

Does anyone else have this problem?

Yeah there is defintely some kind of crossover between this dvd version and the mp3 only version available in another post.

Have completed the download but I am having trouble writing it to DVD-R. Am using Nero and it allows me to add the first two VOB files but not the third with WWRY, Alight Now etc.

I've converted it to Xvid, but it's 730 MB anyway. The only one thing I can do with it, is torrenting it. The question is: will it be worth for anybody? And, of course, it's lower quality than original and I always ask, if it's right to do that. And then we have here a lot of the same gigs, one in DVD, second in Xvid, then some audio in mp3 etc. etc.
