Pity the sound quality is not so great, because this is a good show. Pitch is also too high.

This is a third generation recording of an excellent early Game tour gig.  The quality is superb, and surely an upgrade of all previous versions.  Unfortunately the last track is TYMD, but at least we have most of the concert.  Save Me cuts out at the end, so we're missing Now I'm Here as well.  It's awesome to hear Freddie sing Need Your Loving Tonight like the record version, because his voice was in such good shape early on in the tour.  For that song alone, this bootleg is worth obtaining, but the entire show has Freddie in magical voice.  Brian's guitar solo is a bit long and wandering, but he really does create some pretty things this night.  Overall, this show is one of the very best.

Lineage: AUD > Master > 3rd Generation Tape > WAV > CDR > WAV > FLAC frontend (level 8)
Distribute these files only if they are left completely unaltered, and always include the lineage information.  As always with my shares (and preferably everybody else's!), be sure that this recording is not made available at Queenzone or elsewhere in mp3 or any other lossy format.  Keep lossless files lossless. :)

Enjoy!

Lineage: Master (Technics RS-686DS) > WAV > CDR (2) > WAV > FLAC frontend level 8

I received this recording directly from the taper himself, so it simply can't get any better than this!  It's a truly excellent recording.  I can't see why anyone would want to distribute anything else from this date, as this version renders all the others obsolete.  It is my goal that this share accomplishes exactly that.
This is one of my personal favourites.  A fantastic concert.  Enjoy!

Sound: very good

Comments:
First of three nights in a row at Madison Square Gardens. This recording is the best of three nights (soundquality wise speaking). The usual 'remastering' done (removing some clicks). Enjoy! Cheers, Tim (Epic Dreams)

Comments:
Second of three nights in a row at Madison Square Gardens. It sounds a bit distant. It's a clear sound though. Very energetic performance of the band. This night they played 'Dragon attack', which wasn't played the night before. The usual 'remastering' done (removing some clicks). Enjoy! Cheers, Tim (Epic Dreams)

15) 1980-11-25; Paris
Band : Queen
Venue :  La Rotonde du Bourget, Paris, France
Date : 25. November 1980
Quality : VG+
Lineage : AUD > Breakdown "Hello Paris" > CDR (x) > WAV > FLAC level 8

I have received it in a trade labelled as "best version around". I'm not sure if it's the case, but I have the version which I dowloaded a few years ago from Queenzone, and this is definitely MUCH better quality and features the complete Keep Yourself Alive.

The tracklisting is exactly the same as on the Breakdown bootleg "Hello Paris" , is it possible that this comes from this bootleg ? Could somebody confirm it ?

This is the best source available so far.
Note there are some slightly clicks at the end of Save Me and during the Now Im Here on disc 1 (probably a cd-r failure or something...)
The show misses 3 last tracks: WWRY, WATC and GSTQ and also SHA is cut after 0:50. But it's the best version we can get at the moment!;) Correct me if I'm wrong.

December 14, 1980

Here's an upgrade of the Frankfurt 80 recording.  I know a better version exists with a wider stereo sound, but this is definitely the lowest generation copy I've heard yet (a friend of mine traded for the tape from a German collector in 1984).  This is a great, energetic show from the boys.  Listen to Brian mess up on the piano at the beginning of Save Me.  It takes a few seconds for he and Freddie to synch together again.  This is probably the best recording of Queen's rendition of Imagine we'll ever hear.  This is also one of the best recordings of Battle Theme.  It didn't last long in their live set, as they dropped it after the Japanese '81 shows.

I've also added God Save The Queen is from from the "Imagine" bootleg on the Gypsy Eye label.  They used the common source as well, and added Sheer Heart Attack and GSTQ from an inferior alternate source.  But unfortunately, the two discs are plagued with digital clicks and noise.  GSTQ luckily didn't have too many clicks, so I was able to clean most of that one up, but it was impossible to salvage SHA (if it even is genuinely from Frankfurt).

Lineage: Master > Cassette (x) > CDR > WAV > FLAC Frontend level 8

Lineage of GSTQ: "Imagine" (Gypsy Eye) silvers > CDR (x) > WAV > GoldWave click removal > FLAC Frontend level 8

All these concerts are checked with Audiochecker to determine the source of these files (lossy or lossless).
If Audiochecker has some negativ advise, I have checked the concerts also with Tau-analyzer.
If okay with Tau, I see them as lossless source, if not I have added the "(probably lossy source)" words to the file-name.

I don't have any lineage of every single concert because some are downloaded from the Queenhub.
In the early days of the Queenhub, sadly, it wasn't normal to create txt files with lineage info.
Thanks to the original taper/uploader of this concert where/who ever you are !

Have a good download and keep things lossless which are posted lossless and lossy what is posted lossy here :)

If somebody has better quality versions (or lossless versions from the lossy one which is posted), please think about sharing it here at least I would like it !! ;)

If you have some additional information (about source desciption, tapers info or uploader info, maybe even lineage info), please let me know !!

greetings

Holy shred, holy shred, holy shred!!!

Oh, my! THE GAME TOUR. Do you folks know my motto? Don't you? You should know it by now! It goes like this: give me a gig from the Game Tour and make me happy. ;-))) Think about it: making me happy means preventing a person from becoming a terrorist! Because we have to deal cleverly with the issue of terrorism! I'm such a potential terrorist...
I'm already hinting at my birthday present... ;-)) Hehehehe. So my birthday gift has also a geopolitical aspect to it - you give a present and you help the world!

Thanks a whole, I almost used the Word, but no, thanks a whole lot, Bokkeppot! Thanks, many thanks, this is stuff for life. I'm listening to the gigs from the Hot Space tour, I've been enjoying them so much.

Now the Game Tour...my poor heart doesn't stand so much emotion!

Thanks, Bokkeppot! This is a treat!

Dear sir,     Again I must thank you for uploading all these shows. I'm sure it's quite a chore.
As no-one has the Minnesota show from 82 I was VERY happy to see you had the Minnesota show from '80. Obviously I lived there at the time but I never got to see them. (I finally saw Q+PR in Miami).      I must say that I enjoy cross referencing what I have to see what I don't have.     Now that you've gotten this far I think I'm becoming a bit selfish as I eagerly anticipating more tours.

You can definitely delete the Essen MP3, a lossless version exists of this one.

Regards,

Olivier,
Belgium.

With a simple search request on Queenzone.com I have found this concert.....
Next time I must do this before posting here...
I will add it to the rapidshare list and provide a new torrent for this concert later.

Thanks for information.

greetings

True but as far as I know it's never been shared lossless here on QZ. The share that was put up in Feb was shown to be lossy...

Another piece of information I wanted to check, as it happened to me too.
I downloaded the Brussels show from the 12th december, shared in mp3 here. It is in fact the show from the 13th, wrongly labelled as 12th (I checked "We Will Rock You fast" and "God Save The Queen", at the beginning and the end of the recording).
It seems a lot of people have the same thing in their collection, this recording circulated widely with the wrong date on it. So, considering that you already shared the show from the 13th, you should delete this mp3 and add some words for people to know that they have the wrong date and the wrong format. Don't worry, it seems it happened to a lot of people !

But next question is, is any kind soul here can come to rescue and offer a recording from the 12th December ? There are two different sources for that one according to www.queenlive.ca, the second one having been discovered quite recently if I'm right, so it has not circulated a lot yet I think. Maybe someone with the first source can add his contribution here ...?

Thanks a lot in advance !!

Olivier,
Belgium.

Well, I would be very happy to add my help then, but I'm still uploading some few things that I want to share first, and that requires quite some time to me... So I will be unable to upload that one for a moment.
But if I have it as lossless, I'm sure some others here have this in lossless and could contribute too and be more rapid than me ...?? Anyway, in the meantime, I'm sure the mp3 can be deleted ; if nobody do so, I'll share that one probably not before July.

I only found the first source you mentioned but in mp3,the first night Freddie says:"Hello everybody!do you feel ok?" and Brian introduces LOML:"Brussels it´s nice to see you again" while the second Freddie says:"Hello Brussels, how are you feeling?ok this is rock and roll!" so it´s the correct date but as I said it´s only mp3,a FLAC version must be around if not you just tell me ok?

There are two different sources for Essen.

A 1st gen of the first one is circulating in lossless form but is missing several songs. It has a great sound (A- or something like that). The other one has worse sound but is complete. I have searched it for several years in lossless form but it seems only a mp3 version is circulating. If someone has this second source in lossless form, it would be great to share it, please. Thank you.

Hi there, first of all I want to thank you for all the uploaded shows we've got here to share with all queenzoners, I have a doubt about the Berlin show, because I have downloaded it, but it seems "Another One Bites The Dust" is missing from this source or something like that and I've noticed that this one is take from the "Berlin '80" bootleg, so if someone could re-upload only this song it'd be very grateful for everyone. Thanks in advance.

Is the 6/12/1980 Birmingham recording shared here the same as the one listed on Bob's site(from a lower gen) ? I've got that one and if this one is not the same I will share it(by the end of the week).

Does anybody have a lossless version of Birmingham 1980-12-06?
The one wich is shared here stopped after We Are The Champions and misses some audience conversation for example before "Save Me" starts.
If someone can help, this would be very nice. Thank you.

W.
