| This is a start (and a nice international collaboration). I'm sure there must be some Vienna videos "out there", maybe somebody will be kind enough to share a complete and better recording. |
|
|
However there may be some compression done automatically by Adobe Premiere to fit the video on a single DVD disc.

Well. Halfway through a song the video cuts out (fair enough, that's all there was), but regardless of whether the audio is available seperately or not, the fact that you'd dubbed the audio from the seperate source in the first place means that there was no reason it couldn't have continued for the remainder of the song, whether the screen is black or you did a gallery of photos like you have for the last couple of tracks on the disc. You know. You've pulled out all the stops to create the show from as many sources as you could get hold of and then you fade a song out that didn't need to be faded. Just seems barmy to me to make a gorgeous cake and then not put icing on it! You did ask for comments and I was being constructive not critical :)

Thinking back I can't remember whether I didn't think of adding a gallery or I was just lazy. Fading out the song must've seemed like the only logical thing to do.
Still, be sure to download Mr. Scully's recording. It's worth the Rapidshare wait.

| I used my photo camera to record about 1-2 songs at 3-4 QPR gigs last year and the quality was very very nice and enjoyable; certainly better than any other photo camera footage I've seen on youtube. But unfortunately you cannot hold your camera steady for two hours when you're in the first row, can you? :-) |
|
But to tell you the truth, I'm thinking that for the next tour I'll probably stay in the seats. I'm getting old. Standing in line for 6 hours and then enduring another 3-4 hours in the hall (show included) is a game for the young...

Great photos, by the way. They really make the two final tracks work. V.
