Someone should (when they can) merge the old source and this together to make it as complete as possible! :)

Listening to it, so bad we only have half of the show, quality is really great (excellent version of It's Late!). I don't have the other source but what happened to Japanese tapers on this night? Stuck in traffic? :P

Thank you so much, Freddie sounds like the later European legs of the tour, unfortunately, it all goes downhill after 14/4! :)

Hopefully next year 25/4 is released! So that I can sync it to The Champions and other sources on my channel instead of the source we have now! :)

Freddie sounds great, almost like the late European gigs!

I agree, especially about the version of Its Late - great version even if Freddie isnt hitting the high notes (he still sounds good though)

And thanks to BootLuca for the upload :)

This is great !

The one show in Japan 79 where Mercury is in pretty good form, and delivers a very convincing BoRhap (certainly better than what ended up on Live Killers).

On the down side, they seem kind of lost in Brighton Rock.

Ah well - can't win 'em all !

Glad this is out there.

Now bring on 4-1-76 or 4-4-76, and our Japanese recording collection will be bountiful and pretty well complete.

Impressed with Freddie. He certainly put forth a valiant effort on this show!

Wish the other source was merged - would love to hear how he did on Don't Stop Me Now!

Crazy how little attention this has gotten - it's a brand new 70s Queen show, and this one actually has good sound quality, unlike most.

Needless to say, this is a pretty rare event.

Does anybody know what the audience is yelling between TYMD and SHA and later SHA and WWRY? It sounds to me a bit like "en-co-re", or is it some Japanese word?

True, but it's also a Japan '79 show. Forgive me if I'm not exactly rushing to hear it :P

Howcome? The band was in sensational shape which made for energetic shows with crazy audiences. Ok, Freddie's vocal shape was poor but this makes the shows even more interesting for me.

No matter which era gets documented - any unreleased recording gets tons of attention and love from me.

I can't exactly fault someone that doesn't want to listen to this tour leg for obvious reasons, but even these gigs have shining moments (musical moments, atmosphere).

As much as I cringe at some of the Japanese gigs on this tour leg, stuff like this is always exciting for me, and I fully enjoy it!
