Review:

Great bootleg from East Rutherford in 1982! This is an original bootleg from gypsy eye release. The concert is quite long and the soundquality is really nice. It has Very Good+ soundquality with some background hiss, but it is very clear and enjoyable. Maybe it is a little bit sharp, but it is really not much. They played the song Life Is Real and that is quite unusual which sounds very nice! This is a great hot space concert! There is a very slightly cut in the end of the song Under Pressure, but otherwise complete concert. Note that the back cover says ''Brendon Burn Coliseum'' which is a mistake. It is actually the 'Brendan Byrne Arena'.

Sithmarauder, you were a little bit faster with posting than me. Thank you anyway!
I have listened to my copy yesterday for the first time and it seems to be an outstanding show. Extremely long (lots of strange pauses between the songs – did they have any problems?), a lively performance and an enthusiastic audience. The sound gets better after the first two songs (or did I only get used to it?) and is quite enjoyable.

Nummer2,

I believe this is the show where Brian throws and breaks the John Birch copy of his guitar as he was fed up with the sound of it. So this is probably why there were a long pauses.

Guild84BHM1,

guess you're right. You can hear Freddie's comments about broken guitars between the songs :-) Something like "If anybody in the audience happens to have a guitar with him, please hand it over to us!"

Hey, thank you so much for this!! :)

I had already read on QueenConcerts.com that Brian had destroyed that "Yellow Special" guitar... But why did he do that? Someone here said he was unhappy with its sound... But doesn't it sound pretty much like the original Red Special?

My friend got Brian the John Birch guitar back a couple years ago. He got it back in pieces but he did get it back and was very happy supposedly to have done so!

I know there's a new RS replica being made.. a couple actually.. one by Brian's company and one out of the Nashville area I believe. They both sound very promising! We'll see how the pricing is though! We should know soon from what I'm hearing... at least on the Nashville one!

All the best, MJK

I'm stuck in a moment and I can't get out of it. :o)

If time allows, I'd be really thankful if somebody helped me with this. I wish to download only a few songs for my personal use, for my studies.

Well, thanks for the upload, I'm looking forward to listen to this one because I like the 82' concerts in general, and, that's it, thanks, thanks, thanks. Sorry I can't upload anything. I don't know where can I find these recordings.

When you see a neighbour carrying something, help him with his download. :op lol (Dylan would be mad at me).

When time allows, somebody would be so kind as to seed me this one? I'm not far from finish downloading it because I chose just a few songs, I have no HD space, I have to do some cleaning here.

Thanks again!

Thank you. Once I've downloaded the show, I'm sure I will seed it for a couple of days.

Two questions: do you rename the files of a concert taken from here? How do you re-seed a show if you've burnt it on a cd? do you just copy the file in the pc?

1. I don't rename the files for one very simple reason - if you rename the files the torrent will not work and you can't seed.
2. In theory yes, but it depends - for an audio cd, if you convert from flac to wav and burn then you have to copy and convert back to flac. This apparently works - sometimes - but I have not succeeded so far. Someone more technologically savvy might have a better answer - if so I'd like to hear it too!

I don't rename what I download because of it and I'm lazy, after all XD

My hard-disk is very limitated, 37 GB full of stuff of my mommy, my daddy and my sister; I've got at least 5-6 GB of free space for Quen stuff, and I try to seed as many show as I can; hopefully I'm going to buy an external device to save Queen stuff ;-)
Uh, I've never converted any show in WAV, I keep only FLAC files except for the 26-12-'79 show, which I listen every evening on my stereo while I'm sleepy on my bed.
