How bizarre. I'm amazed there has been no mention of this until now. I'll need to visit Walmart tomorrow to see if they have it.

Please do - while I would love for this to be an interesting release, with at least something fun on it, I hold out no hope.

Great sleeve for another shitty Queen release... I wonder why Queen is allowing / releasing things like this. I think they recieve a lot of money for such deals (with supermarkets)

They are probably releasing stuff like this in the US to try and boost their popularity.

Walmart seems to get several exclusive releases. In fact the new Eagles album with be an exclusive Walmart release in the US.

walmart.com says it's "online only" so I suppose that means you can't buy it in stores?

brianmay.com mentioned this was the second exclusive wal-mart release so what was the first one?

When the new Velvet Revolver album came out it was listed on the Walmart website as online only for the first few days even though they had it in the store.

They actually have the new Smashing Pumpkins album listed as online only too. I find that hard to believe too.

...speaking of Velvet Revolver, their new album is a cracker. These guys are a great live act too. Do miss The Pilots though...

Yep, I like it, too!

About the Queen CD, the cover is pretty kick ass. Hope they have it in Wally World tonight!

Ok gang, I picked the CD up today (yes, it was for sale at the store.)

Not much in the way of liner notes, just your basic song title, songwriter stuff with an insert promoting a grab bag of other titles ("The Game," "A Day at the Races," etc.)

The CD contains the music we already have. the bonus DVD doesn't just have the music videos for the songs listed but also includes live performances of said songs.

Bonus DVD:
1- A Kind of Magic from Video Hits 2 DVD
2- Another One Bites the Dust live from On Fire at the Bowl DVD
3- Bohemian Rhapsody from Video Hits 1 DVD
4- I Want It All from Return of the Champions DVD
5- Crazy Little Thing Called Love from live at Wembley Stadium DVD
6- Don't Stop Me Now from Video Hits 1 DVD
7- Fat Bottomed Girls from return of the Champions DVD
8- Innuendo music video
9- an interview segment that was on the Live at Wembley Stadium DVD

Each song is preceded by the DVD cover from which it originated except "Innuendo" which obviously is on no other DVD as yet. The audio for the DVD is Dolby Digital 2.0 only.

So there ya go. I'm sure the inclusion of the Queen+ Paul Rodgers stuff will anger some fans but after the dull "Stone Cold Classics" also included material from "Return of the Champions," should we really be surprised?

Ugh. Walmart. That makes me very, very sad. Why would they work with Walmart on something like this. There are much better places they could have released an exzclusive with. I won't be buying it. I refuse to shop there.

It finally happened, I'm slightly mad!~ :)

I know people will post as if they are enlightening all of us but the truth is that I have learned that YES I understand and agree how releasing too many compilations or certain things too many times can be bad BUT there is actually good news about this being that anything can be put out of print. As long as the excess releases are kept to a minimum (and eventually put out of print hopefully they will serve the purpose of not only increasing sales all around for Queen (and the interest in the Paul Rodgers collaborations) but raise the interest level of them as well with the general public.

...and what a GORGEOUS cover for this release!
