I have been a huge queen fan for a long long time. I was on you tube a few months ago browsing and watching great Queen videos and things and cam across a video called Great King Rat - Miracle the dutch queen cover band.
I thought great another band that going to a sloppy job and not to the great song justice.
Well, let me tell you, out of just curiosty I watched the video and man was I blown away. These guys are incredible. They do another song Ride the wild wind that the ydo a super job on. Check out the link below to the video. These guys are really good. The bets cover band I have heard in a long long time.
They have a dvd where this video came from which has a ton of songs that are the best.
Spread the word to all Queen fans.
thanks for letting me rant a bit. Ray W.

Yeah well, they sound allright.

But they are SO cocky.

Die vent is een arrogant misselijk mannetje.

He knows what I'm talking about.

No one should ever ever think that they come even close to the real thing. It's not about performing the songs alone....Queen actually came up with these great songs. Just like they say on their youtube account: they are like an orchestra playing Bach, that doesn't make them capable of 'writing Bach'.

The irony, the irony. Besides, you wouldn't recognize Bach if he jumped on top of you yelling "Equal temperament!".

Sure it can! I see what you're trying to say... but being able to play the piece of music definitely doesn't eliminate the possibility of someone being able to come up with an equally great or even better piece.

They have a great pianist and bassplayer..
I haven't heard the new drummer, so I can't say anything about him

The singer... well... Lets say he's no Freddie :P
