Very mediocre at best. Does nothing for me. A better effort than the other instrumental, but, keep in mind, if you are going to record instrumentals, the instrumental parts had damn well better be spot on brilliant!!

This falls short of brilliant. Way short. Sorry. Crappy piano sound, cheesy synth drum sound.

You should be judging by the amount of negative attention you've recieved over the past couple of months. However, I must commend you for your tribute to Freddie Mercury, but I wish you had added more structure to it. I love the piano entrance and how it builds into a bigger sound, but where does it go from there? Where are the twists and turns that make a good composition fun to listen to? Even the ending was a disappointment. I'm looking forward to your official recording of the song to see how it turns out in the end. Best of luck to you.

Why do you still post your stuff on queenzone when you know that nobody likes you? Everybody is tired of you so there is no point in posting your songs for others to critisize. Find another band forum to put your crap on. Oh wait, I forgot you only like Queen and yourself.

No, actually I thought it could be a pretty good backing track for a guitar-oriented song. I was even playing a solo over the song and it sort of worked out good.

Just one VERY important thing: BASS.

You need a bass there, seriously. Crappy or good arrangement, it's gotta be there.

And the piano needs some work on the dynamics... more soft parts, more agressive parts... some rhythm variation on the arrangement, sounds too constant... too alike.

Other than that, I didn't think it was bad.

I agree with horsure..

It sounds nice, but you may want to do something with the dynamics. And you may want to speed up the track just a little. But I think thats because the rhythm is very choppy. I guess when there are vocals on top it will flow better.

Anyway, tell us when you upload the finished one!

The thing is that you always show incomplete songs or songs with mistakes here and there.

We know they're demos. A demo is perhaps, a low quality recording... but that doesn't mean that the song shouldn't be already fully developed or that it's ok if it has mistakes.

A song should never have mistakes, and even if the idea is clear, people should listen what you want them to listen and not what you don't, because showing incomplete versions... won't really make us think that the song is good or bad, is just incomplete. Without the melody, it can be either amazing or crap.

You guys need to develop your arrangements and how to use them. And that needs time and experimentation, of course. Your problem is that your arrangements repeat themselves too much. They might work out if you used them in the right places and not over and over again, you're wasting them.

I.E that song of yours, Warrior, the beginning sounds kinda ackward... too short but I came up with this idea, it's almost the same but developed in a slightly different way and longer... just according to what a good intro to this song would be to me, it could perhaps work better. Ideas do that: changing one little thing, you can either make em amazing or fuck them up.

So let's say you liked this and you included it into the song... this allows you to NOT use rhythm guitar on 3/4 or what would be the verse. In this case less is more, the constant rhythm guitar gets kinda annoying and is something that doesn't help at all, because it's one thing that doesn't let the song change. I would add it only where the song needed more strenght and I would leave only bass and keyboards on the rest. It's called saving ideas... things can work out good, but when used properly they work out much better. Variation on the arrangements, that's one of the keys to keep the listener's interest on a song.

Just a little advise that may change a lot in the final sound of your song to make it sound more "profesional".

What do you guys think?

Why don't you try my idea? How much time could it take you?

You might even like the final result.

hey horsie , i actually like what you did, it could easily fit in , in the begingin of our song. I intended to do a better begining on Warrior but it was my Idiot brother Max aka Atheist that always rushes our stuff to the myspace site and stuff. The same goes for the song freddie forever , its a realllyyy early demo of a demo hah its not finished.

But i like your intro to warrior, great job!

You'll get attacks only when you deserve them.
This time you're polite, so we are polite to you.

BTW I've listened to your song. It starts good but later it comes boring, you should rework the ending
