I bought a version of Scandal 12" a couple of years ago. On side 1 there's the 3 songs, and on side 2 there's no music, but "autographs" of the 4 members. They don't look very real, so what's the point? Does anyone knows the story about this?

Thanks!

I have this too. It was just a special edition disk they put out. The autographs are etched into the record by machine. Don't know it's value though.

The point was to make people buy up to 6 different copies of one single in order to drive it higher up the charts.

Hence clear vinyl versions of the Invisible Man, Breakthru picture disc, Scandal with a poster sleeve etc etc.

And although they are reproductions of the band's signatures, they are accurate.
