Dear Friends

Here's a link sample of a remaster I've done of this FOR MY OWN USE. If you don't like it, please don't download it.

It's much quieter than the original, because it has a greater dynamic range (actually peak-to-average ratio)- notice they both peak at 0dB (well, mine near as dammit).

If enough people like it I'll upload the whole thing - obviously lossless.

Enjoy!

Bear in mind that this wouldn't have been possible had it not been for bootLuca's original upload, so please don't forget to visit that post and say thanks!

This definitely sounds better. So you basically EQ'd it? There was a heck of a lot of mid on the original, come to think of it.

I speak behalf on many, I'm sure: Please share this one complete!

Right. Sold. Thanks everyone for your comments. Had a few problems because the recording changes towards the end of the first disc and throughout the second (has a lot more treble), hence the reason for the delay.

I think it's done now, but I need to listen through before I post it. Anyone got any opinions on whether the rock n roll medley should be one track or many very short ones?

And will you listen to them jamming on liar?! Goddamn..

In my opinion, the medley should be a single track. They're not like Zeppelin's medleys where they would actually play different songs... Queen's usually were the same 12-bar blues with Freddie singing lines from various songs.

Agreed about Liar... amazing stuff.

Just like the Golders remaster, a great job. Your work actually does make a big difference, unlike some. Please do upload the rest, I think I'm off to download Drammen and Nagoya '82 (if theres still some seeds) in the meantime.

Well done again!

Liar: Absolutely fantastic version. It's not only the sheer energy. The vocals – Freddie's and the backing voices as well – are awesome. Tight, clear and perfectly in timing, which goes for the instruments, too. And could it be, that this song is the first time Freddie practiced his unique audience interaction thing? Was this performance the start of it? It almost sounds like it was from 1979!

The whole show is awesome. Freddie sings with great passion and concentration, Brian is playing with creativity and perfection and John's bass is just perfect. Roger's vocals are fantastic, too, and perfectly mixed. When I only had my old crappy 143th generation MP3 version it didn't appeal to me that much – it was just another SHA show to me – , but this sound quality (even the one before stark remastered it) really makes a difference!

I can't wait to hear your remaster, stark!

Absolutely! It seems Freddie was doing the vocal during Liar thing throughout this tour... you hear it on the Kobe recording, too.
