Those chart positions came from the official Australian chart archives.

when i saw the clip on TV here when it was released it got to number 4. .. and I was far to young to be on drugs then.

It's quite possible that there is more than one chart system in Australia. Every other country usually has more than one.

Perhaps it got to #4 on some rock chart or something.

The queenpedia info is indeed accurate as I still have the ARIA charts lol. There have been many unofficial charts here over the years but Queen's only official no1's are Bo Rhap and Crazy Little Thing ...... oh and add Queen and 5ive to that too I think.

IWIA was on the radio when I was on my way into school a couple of weeks ago...

I remember IWIA at number 4 too.

I'll never forget going to a nightclub at the time when it came on and the crowd response was amazing. People all singing along to the chorus...until the DJ (from Austereo..surprise surprise) cut it off and said "That's enough of the gay music!"

Austereo did their absolute best to rubbish and ignore Queen through the eighties/early nineties.

Does anybody actually know what chart it got to #4 in? If somebody can tell me I will add it to the site. All I know is that it was not the official Australian top 40.
