They won't because they didn't sell good. They should have, but they didn't.

Bad promoting I'd say. If the band was promoted better they would become bigger..

I'll agree but I think that if they ReEdit the 3 album separate with bonus track and selling through the queen portal to worldwide(for example)...
I'm sure that they have a relative decent number of buyers...
It's not value ReEdit for one country but if ReEdit for all the worldwide they must sell good
(I believe)

Albums were released on different labels -> too much "paper work" must be done, but in the end who the fuck will buy "Shove It" with bonus tracks even in our days?

no record company is going to waste time re-pressing cds that didn't sell well first time round.

They are still in catalog because they sold so badly that even after YEARS that first and only pressing still hasn't sold out!

Fun In Space got to #18 in the UK and Strange Frontier wasn't a flop. All to blame on poor marketing though...

Because (May & Taylor)+Paul Rodgers or any superknown concert Rerererereedit with digital surround, dts, 5.1, blah! it´s more profitable than a few fans like us.

The cross sound great!!! much better than Strange Frontier or Electric Fire but Queen Productions never think on the fans.

Queen Productions is not in charge of the Nightjar Productions releases. Do you really believe that Shove It is better than Electric Fire?

The Cross failed when Parlophone discovered that Freddie was on his way out.

The pressure was on for the band to then complete the "Innuendo" album and promote that fully. Because of this, any backing for The Cross was removed (remember they had a HUGE following in continental Europe, particularly in Germany) as it was felt that, should Roger become *too successful* with his secondary project, his on-going attention would be taken away from Queen. Parlophone were also scared of the fact that the members of Queen might decide (however remote it seems, it was certainly a possibility) to dissolve the band in advance of Freddie dieing so that there was absolutely no pressure on Freddie to feel that he had to go on recording. Seeing that and wanting to protect their investment, Parlophone saw it apropriate to leave Roger will few options OTHER THAN Queen as a working band.

Sadly, a great band never really got the chance to be anything more than they were. Blue Rock is simply the best solo album from any of the members of Queen from the quality of the writing to the production and overall sound. It's so sad that the powers that be were so short-sighted as this band could have been really good.

Electric Fire's a great album, but totally incomperable to anything that The Cross did - it's like comparing a Porsche to a Skoda.......

Serry in my personal opinion...Shove It is better than Electric Fire.....just with heaven for everyone (roger or fred version) is enough to confirmate this.

Other thing is that Shove it become after Strange Frontier and the first it´s better like an album pop (see like a taylor album....both have all the songs written by Rog...except the covers).

Electric Fire become after Happiness.....this make for me to Electric Fire the very worst Taylor work.

I repeat it´s my personal opinion.....
