Bad? BAD?
That was the day Queen's reputation as a good band died before the eye of our entire nation!
It was a disgrace.
Well, maybe a bit overreacted. But in ANY way it was the absolute worst performance ever done under the Queen banner.

i dont get why people are thinking this was a bad performance.yh it might not have been the best Queen performance but it was the words of the song that made it great

Yep, that was possibly the worst "Queen" "concert" I've ever seen on video. Might have sounded better live but on video it's just terrible.

It was ok, but I have seen them do a lot better and I have seen worse live performances from other bands!

The first Queen+PR gig in South Africa is far worse, IMHO. I was really depressed by that one. I could never dream then that they would become as good as they did in Super Live in Japan.

Terrible gig, was there too.

But it was cool to see roger and brian singing this song. This is the only time they performed it live together.

That show was not that bad at all, I think!
At least it was remarkably better then Brixton the week after.

I remember downloading it the following day and being very excited about it. I was like "Wow! They are playing something more than just WWRY/WATC! An actual Queen concert in my lifetime".

In retrospective, yes, it wasn't a good performance. Brian messing up in AOBTD was also criminal.

My first Q+PR gig was Vienna 2005 and they made some mistakes but they had a lot of energy and Brian and Roger looked very happy.

By the time I saw them in San Diego 2006, they were already true live killers. They teared down the place to bits. Paul truly OWNED the crowd and the band played tighter than ever.

Indeed.

Was great for me to see Brian and Roger together (quite unique in those days)

I don't know, guys, I just finished watching the complete concert and I definitely can not say that this is a bad concert. Definitely not the best, but still very good.

At least it's better than the crap they did with certain musicalcast-members.

Fortunately Roger got back into drumming, so they didn't need crappy Eric Singer anymore for the 2005/2006 tours :) Horrible backingsingers too - can't believe that Brian felt he needed female backingsingers on his solo tours.

It was a free concert and the lucky Dutch fans were notified by their fabulous FC leader on the early morning of that day. I remember listening to the webcast together with some other fans in the QZ chat room during work and we thought it was terrible but the truth is that we were all jealous of the Dutchies and would have given a lot to be there. I think I would have even put on one of these orange plastic crowns if I had had the chance to go :)
