I have been checking the internet since March this year every day, still no bloody news, does anyone out there really know when it's going to be released, or how they are doing with it?

Please let me know, i am getting on edge now!!

It will probably have the same faith as the other new projects Brian and Roger did. It will end up in the trash can

Or we'll get a new remake of an old track that they felt 'always needed some more production' - like "the secret project" in 1999 which turned out to be the Rah mix of UP.

Boooooring. I really doubt we'll see a QPR album, especially as Paul apparently doesn't feel like he's part of a band, doesn't want to tour etc.

It was originally promised to be released this year... *rolls eyes*

I hope Brian won't play Axl Rose and wait over a decade to release the bloody album. Queen fans don't need a "Chinese Democracy".

LOL, I never knew that was the secret project, wonderful!

As for Paul not feeling part of the band and not touring??? why then are they booking arenas? and getting crew diaries sorted?

'Arena's'?
Just wondering: what capacity has an 'arena' when one uses that word in the English language? Same as in Dutch? Ten/fifteen thousand-plus?

Because they will NEVER EVER draw as much audience this time around then they did last time. (Unless the album becomes a HUGE hit, but we all know that that won't happen either.)

Bout the album or bout the tour?

Come on! Seriously - try to look behind your fandom.

I'm a huge fan and one of the biggest supporters of Paul Rodgers working with Brian and Roger - but a hit, at least in Europe, just will never happen. And last time they drew lots of big crowds also because it was their first time, and to the beliefs of basically everybody, last time around.
They will not draw any 'new' fans with a new album and to the big fans the 'once in a lifetime oppertunity' feeling of last time is not there anymore. Many fans will not, like last time, go to a dozen shows anymore.

LOL - okay, some fans may have more money now then they did last time ;-)))

I personally should realy temper myself this time.
Think I'll limit myself to do 'only' 10 maximum... :-)

I would try to see more shows, too. Mainly I would want to go to Italy - Italians are the loudest and most enthusiastic fans.

Actually, the album does not matter that much - how many new songs would they play, maybe 5? Enough to make the tour interesting (i.e. give us an excuse, lol)

I think you should come to the US. Detroit had good fans, and umm....well, Chicago was pretty good....Cleveland kinda...err..yeah, Atlanta..so, so....Pittsburgh and Jacksonville, let's not go there. Well, anyway...I'm sure to go nuts at the shows. ;-)

Yes, I can confirm that both Cleveland and Detroit were nice. (Especially the audience in Detroit was great - for US standards!),

but nothing, and I mean NOTHING I EVER wintessed at the countless of concerts I went to in my life, even came close to the stuff I saw at the QPR show in Milano!!
That was pure madness, pure euforia and everyone that has the chance I would with all my heart recommand going to Italy for a show. The experience was undiscribable, realy!
(I mean; standing front row and not being able to hear the band because of all the screaming and singing... lol, that was realy something. I still get goosebums again whenever I play the video and hear the heavy distortion in the audio when the crowd goed wild ;-)

I thought they were good by anyone's standards! Brian even said so. :-) It was certainly my favorite QPR tour experience. It was really frustrating at some of the shows where no one but us seemed to be singing LOML. Me, Pieter, and Lisser tried our best to sing LOUD right in front of Brian in Jacksonville to make up for it. I'm sure it sounded terrible. ;-D

I would love to experience some European shows myself. It'd be fun, I'm sure. :-)

You bet!
Join us at a Italian or a Dutch show and you will understand my remark about the 'US standard'! ;-)
