I promised to send this to a friend of mine, so I figured I might as well add another present under the QZ Christmas tree by uploading it to Mediafire. (I actually normally do torrents, btw, but since the QZ tracker is a bit unreliable, this is it for now. I don't mind sometimes having to wait for a proper announce when downloading, but I would hate to be the one seeder and not manage to get any connections going.)
NOTE that this is mainly for "completionists" who like to have and compare different sources for the same show. If you "just" want a complete recording of the show in good sound quality, search for and get Stark's remaster of "Young Nobles Of Rock", that has been posted here.
Title: "Kimono My Place Live" (originally MARC TQ-75122, Japan 1976), or possibly "Stunning" (Rodan Records, USA 1979).
Date: May 01, 1975
Venue: Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan
Total time: 39:24
Artwork for "Stunning" and "Kimono My Place Live" included.
01 - Procession 1:39
02 - Now I'm Here 5:34
03 - Great King Rat 7:14
04 - Killer Queen 2:38
05 - Seven Seas Of Rhye 3:28
06 - Hangman 3:55
07 - Shag Out 2:44
08 - In The Lap Of The Gods...revisited 5:34
09 - See What A Fool I've Been 5:15
10 - God Save The Queen 1:23
This is what the info file I got with the the files says: "Extracted from the CD with EAC and encoded to flac with Flac Frontend level 8."
There were two tracks, not ten as you might expect from a CD containing ten songs:
01 Procession - Now I'm Here - Great King Rat - Killer Queen - Seven Seas Of Rhye
02 Hangman - (Shag Out) - In The Lap Of The Gods...revisited - See What A Fool I've Been - God Save The Queen
This makes me wonder whether I have got a copy of a needledrop that has since been burnt to CDR, or if this is the CD re-release of the "Stunning" vinyl (which was a copy of the original "Kimono My Place Live" vinyl) that was called... (you guessed it!) "Kimono My Place Live". I would expect the tracks from a CD to be separate, though. It is of course possible that they simply turned the LP sides A and B into "Track 01" and "Track 02" on the CD...
(Both "Stunning" and "Kimono My Place Live" have also been released as more or less complete 2-disc sets - I am not sure those releases are from the same tape source, though, or if they just re-use the names of earlier bootlegs.)
Review/info from boot-review.com:
Several older sources exist with the first appearing on a rare Japanese vinyl titled Kimono My Place Live (Marc TC-75122) released in 1976 and copied on Stunning Live In Tokyo on Rodan Records. This tape source is very good but incomplete, covering only forty-minutes of the two hour show and containing “Procession,” “Now I'm Here,” “Great King Rat,” “Killer Queen,” “Seven Seas Of Rhye,” “Hangman (Shag Out),” “In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited,” “See What A Fool I've Been,” and “God Save The Queen.” Three songs from this source, “Jailhouse Rock,” “See What A Fool I’ve Been,” and “God Save The Queen” was released on compact disc on Great King Hangman in 2000 along with a fragment from Queen's April 19 show at the Budokan. A second complete audience recording was used for First Live Attack (Private Masters PM-007/008). The sound quality of this is fair to good, very distant with the screams of the girls in the audience frequently drowning out the music. Private Masters packaged this in a slimline double jewel case with a replica of the concert ticket. Wardour released Killing Me Softy (Wardour-004) in 2004 and contains a better sounding mono recording. “Now I’m Here” and “Ogre Battle” are incomplete and the source from First Live Attack was used to complete the songs. The concert was also professionally videotaped and three songs, “Now I'm Here,” “Killer Queen,&qu
