Dear All QueenZoners

Notice I said QueenZoners there, and not QueenMoaners, as I have sometimes written in the past. I coined the term MoanZone, remember!!!! which many of you (you know who you are) thought worthy of adopting.

I hope you are all very well and dandy and happy and nowhere near a hospital. And not even unwell or feeling a bit sick... none of those things, you lovable wee Queen Chatters you!

"He must WANT something!" I hear you say, you cynical beasts.

Just because I'm nice, sometimes (not often, I grant you), and just because I enquire as to your health and well being, in a sensitive caring fashion, doesn't automatically mean that I'm up to something, that I have an agenda, or that I want something.

People always jump to those conclusions.

Anyway...

I certainly DO want something this time, as it happens!!!! But not help with a Queen product. I won't make that error again. The last two times I asked you guys'n'girls for help with a Queen product (mistakenly thinking that you being involved and actively participating and having some influence in the products you love for a change might interest you and bypass some of the problems you usually take exception to) many of you took it instead as "Greg wants us to do his job for him." "Lazy bastard!" I couldn't win then, and that ain't gonna change. In the scheme of things, in this world, it's not exactly priority is it!!!!!

I mean... Vera Duckworth died in her sleep the other night and Britain mourns and is saddened beyond expression. What are errors on Queen sleeves, the Barcelona 12" version being missed off the SOLO box, and the overlooked 7" single edit of MIH, against this??????

It's the end of a Vera!!!!!!

So... I'm not asking for any ideas, suggestions, input from you at all here, and therefore next time a Queen product comes out, those of who who love nothing more than a fine old Queenmoanzone moan-groan, can criticise the hell out of all aspects of it, knowing that you had no influence over it (coz you couldn't be arsed), did not contribute a thing, and so can whinge on with the usual sense of justification.

Don't get all humpy!! I'm only saying!! Don't shoot the messenger my lovely friendly fellow aficianardos. Let there be general peace and even the odd bit of love and good vibe Brooks-bound.

Did you know, the rather wonderful Freddie Mercury: A Life, In His Own Words book (co-compiled and edited by one Simon Lupton and chum) is now available in brand new editions... in different formats sometimes, and with a different front cover (sometimes) - foreign language editions. The German version is lovely, so too the Japanese one, and a Spanish language version would look fab on your bedroom shelf. Others to follow.

Mr Lupton, if you're interested, will happily sign any copy you like, if you post it to him (with return postage stamps), as will his very charming collaborator. They are both damned fine chaps!!!!

By the way.... is it true, does anyone know, that Pete Malandrone has had to have complete sets of false teeth fitted (north AND south) because of some accident with a falling flight case???

Sounds nasty!!!

I've looked at some images on the net, and the most recent photos DO indeed seem to have that certain 'pretend teeth' feel about them.

If it is true, may I offer sincere sympathy to Pete and his former gum tenants.

Can't you keep it together for even one sentence without sounding like a complete prat?

Will this affect any of his appearances as "Tracy"?
