yep, a pretty one but...why are they keep coming out with new models .....again. first there was the burns guitar (the one i still own) then a more accurate version Brian may guitars in any colour you like and finaly the new one, that looks like an exact copy (at last). i wish it was possible to have a exact copy for a decent amount of money, not 2500 pounds!!! Man!!! the curly man's bankaccount must be boiling over......feeling a little screwed here..

Brian needs to get a fucking clue here. It's obvious what the world needs;
a 12 string Red Special. It has to happen. If he doesn't do it, I will.

That's it; just e-mailed him. I can always get another Burns and do some major fucking around I guess....
but come on. 12 strings. It has to happen!

It is a very nice looking guitar (obviously!). But couldn't they have come up with a better name and a better headstock print? That Super font lets the whole thing down.

Are these made by the guy who did ran the KZ guitar workshop? He was based in Japan and his site is now just for spares and the marketing of the up and coming Fryer Deacy and Treble Booster.

Is the Burns brian may signature guitar worth £400? Have been offered one for that but don't know if it's a deal or not.

How they can sell replicas for £2500 when original was made from $20 (or so) ? >:-@

Simple. He's famous now and the replicas have his signature on the headstock. ;)

No, now seriously... It must be quite difficult to replicate a guitar. Especially considering he made it with unusual and quite random stuff.

If it was easy to make a perfect replica, they wouldn't have been trying from 1985 to 2008. ;)

I personally would love to buy the Super, if I had the money.

And Zebonka's idea is just brilliant... I wonder if they'd hurry up and build at least a prototype soon. Maybe Brian could feel inspired to write a couple of songs on it that would make it into the album and then he'd play the guitar on stage.

on the subject of a 12 string Red Special....
Well I got an answer; a 'we'll get to it! Cheers, Bri' sort of affair!

So here's hoping; I'd be one of the first in line for one of those, definitely.

There is a picture out there that shows KZ and Fryer looking over a Brian May copy together. So, the general feeling is that KZ has become part of the people behind the Super guitar, as well as Fryer, too!

2500 is steep, but since there are only 100 made (at the moment), it's not that surprising.

2500, is steep but there would be no point in having a model at £500, and then one at £1000, to make it worthwhile it would have to be a significant leap.

Looks great can't wait for the reviews

This is a KZ +Fryer thing, that's the reason they're so expensive. Honestly, the price is very reasonable. The quality is superb and they're made by Kaz and Fryer. If you want something closer you can always spend more money and buy a Guyton.

I thought if you wanted to play like Eddie or Stevie you HAD to buy one of those new authentics for $25,000.

Brian and Eddie both made (or customized) their guitars for maybe $100 or so. If some rich guy wants to buy an 'authentic' to show all his buddies, hey good on you! But you certainly don't have to spend five grand to achieve a good tone.

I actually wouldn't mind buying one. It is a little on the expensive side. God knows I could use the $5K on something useful, like payoff my car or invest it, but I dunno. They're great handmade guitar.

Well I've heard enough cookie-cutter crap from Ibanez JEM owners to know that money isn't everything.

This looks a pleasant guitar, but I'd never part with mine. For one thing, I've fallen in love with the white scratchplate. Hah. There goes my resale value.
