Between The eYe and Greatest Karaoke Hits, there are a bunch of instrumentals versions officially out there now. If you could pick one track not yet issued in an instrumental form (ie. the original Queen backing track, with no vocals), which would it be?

Me? I'd love to hear "Innuendo" as a full instrumental. I was annoyed it wasn't on Karaoke Hits.

Agreed.
Someone once told me Innuendo probably wasn't on there because it was so hard to sing.
They said that with a straight face, while there was songs like The Show Must Go On and Breakthru on there - not to mention the 70's stuff... I've never heard anyone do a decent job of those.
It's karaoke!

I'd bet it's because you don't live in Japan.

Back to the topic, I'd love to hear an instrumental version of "Procession."

...ok, ok, all sarcasm aside, most of their early stuff would make great instrumental work. "March of the Black Queen" and "Liar" especially stand out. For a left-field selection, how about "It's Late"? Some truly remarkable guitar work on that track, arguably Brian May's best.

Procession, God Save the Queen, Wedding March, Vultan's Theme, Footbal Fight, Arboria, Execution of Flash, In the Death Cell, In the Space Capsule, and the 'Races' Overture.

I can't imagine any of those without vocals!

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Then why was Keep Yourself Alive on it?
Talk about a hard song to sing. xD
It's possible, but you'll have to be a trained singer, not a nooby karaoke singer.
The abscence of Killer Queen is weirder than the abscence of Innuendo.

I'd love to hear the complete Queen II album instrumentally. <3

If you want to talk about getting the notes right, I can do Keep Yourself Alive.

No one ever said anything about it sounding good, hahaha...

Good point about Killer Queen. WHAT THE HELL!?

This one is on the 'Greatest Karaoke Hits' DVD as a bonus track.

I'd like to hear '39 just because it's in my top 3 favorite Queen songs, or Ferry Feller's Master Stroke.

I have a complete instrumental version of Innuendo.
It's not the Queen track with ripped vocals, instead it's a studio track with some backing vocals, recoreded by session musicians and vocalists.
It is somewhat impressive.

Matt.

Innuendo or Kashmir? Both awesome!

Someone mentioned "Bring Back That Leroy Brown"...

Well, they played an instrumental version during their Opera Tour which was pretty sweet. A decent recording can be found on the bootlegs of their 1975 Christmas Eve concert at the Hammersmith Odeon.
