No: this CDV contains the bog-standard released 7"/ Video versions.
The version you are looking for appears on the film soundtrack only, and therefore can be found on any Higlander video or DVD.

Another project Brian has talked about which has never seen the light of day... Would be great to have all the alternate/unreleased stuff from the Highlander soundtrack compiled on one disc... But hey, don't wanna flood the market :W

But then his Friend Kamen had died and well, let's just say Brian hasn't had any offers to do it.

Thank you, John, Pim & Adam for informative answer!

So there is no chance to get this version without 'film noise'... It seems that it's the same as with New York New York song from this film. I hope that the master exists in the archives but I remember I read somewhere that New York New York tapes are not saved and what we have in the film (with film and actors 'noise') - it's only we have...

By the way, this Who Wants To Live Freddie-sings-intro version sounds like a good demo where Freddie sings in some kind of relaxing and 'test' manner (but he sings it soooo beautiful...). Interesting, why this version was taken for the film?
