Hi everybody!
I made a remaster of the demo of the TMBMTLTT demo by Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson.
Please tell me what you think about it!

This is neither new, remixed or remastered but the bog-standard demo (reduced to 128kbs).
Why take credit (Yankovic Remaster) for something you have not done?

It always makes me laugh to see this stuff. Dude, you did the worst thing you can do and killed the sound of the piano with that noise reduction. Remaster indeed...lol!

Adam.

So basically you have taken an MP3 demo, played it through a graphic equaliser, then saved the results?
Just as I thought, your creativity (Yankovic Remaster) knows no start.

It's the first time I ever tried to do anything with a soundfile. I did it because the noise and hiss was too loud in the original. I agree that the piano sounds weird. I've never done something like this before.

Fine. I understand that, and that is good.
But why take credit (Yankovic Remaster) for something that you have not done?
Would it not have been better to be upfront and honest in the first place?

I still have a few Queen bootlegs on cassette tape. Because I playback these on 'Dobly C' rather than 'Dolby B' does that mean I can now call these 'John S. Remasters'?

I don't think anyone has any problems with your ideas - or even what you have done - but I do not see how you can call this remastering.

I call this remaster because I used a noise reduction, eq and added some stereo reverb.
Maybe I should call it something else.

Dude, you are weird. You castrated the track and now call it a remaster.
Thanks for your effort, but it is trivial.
Anyway - the clearer version (with NO murderous hiss reduction) exists.
give this stuff a shot when you'll have some spare time http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remaster
Nothing personal. take care.

I just threw up a little bit in my mouth! Listening to wacko jacko whine along to a Freddie song has just turned my stomach!

Where can I find that "clear" version?
