I just read on BM's website an article that will infuriate many fans here in the North of England.
It is a comment made by Tony Roberts, an apparent Tour Promoter-
"It’s a huge coup for Liverpool. You build an arena and people will come. Liverpool has a huge musical heritage and this year being Capital of Culture is a happy coincidence. We could have gone to Manchester but we thought we would support Liverpool"
Why play in a 10,000 seat arena when there is a 20,000 seat arena available 30 miles down the road?????
I know you can't please all the fans all of the time, but the demand for tickets is going to be huge for this tour in the UK.
On a sports front, imagine saying we will play this years FA Cup Final in Birmingham to support the city, knowing the biggest stadium in Birmingham only holds just over 40,000 people..... it is ludicrous
