Apart from some minor remixing, both versions are the exact same performance.

Personally, I prefer the album version, but I guess that means I prefer the BBC version too.

BBC one sounds more raw. Studio recording sounds more smooth. Guess just depends on your day what sort of a sound your interested in.

BBC version sounds much better to my ears, much heavier and more "raw" sound, especially Freddie's vocals sound much better. In the case that this is really only a different mix of the album version, they made a great job

Oooops !! didn´t remember I started this thread!
Although not many responses, I totally agree with you, pittrek.
To me, the BBC version sounds far much better than the album; the overall sound is more clear, and Freddie´s vocals simply better, in my opinion.

I like them both. One of my absolute favorite Queen songs. Ever!

It would be nice if there was a real live recording. Same with Great King Rat. Only got a version with one verse and a synth-solo from The Works tour.

Please release some early shows on DVD!

There is a frivilous little bit of guitar on the BBC version at exactly 1.45, its only a few seconds long and isn't on the 'proper' version (its not high in the mix anyway) and its sounds great, the bbc version is far superior.
