For this release, I've used the audio in stereo from FM 2005 broadcast and from the ESKIMO's first gen tape from BBC broadcast. I mixed it (using Pinnacle Studio 10) with the original tv broadcast (which is only in very good quality regarding the video, instead of the new rebroadcast which is excellent) mainly because of the many cuts (expecially between the songs) that are present in the new rebroadcast. In the radio broadcast there are some missing pieces too (for example: Freddie before It's late said "a special Christmas rendition of a little number called Liar" and in the radio broadcast they cut the word "christmas"). In this release they are present! In these pieces I've used the audio from the original broadcast, of course. I've used that audio for the final "merry christmas everybody" by Freddie at the end of In the lap of the gods because it was muted (but not completely) on the radio broadcast. The only missing piece is just 15 seconds during Now I'm here (not the beginning, which is present) because of some problems with the original videotape. As the video was a little slower than the radio broadcast I had to make it faster song by song (and it was a hard work). So it MAY be out of synch in some point but, watching many times, I can't find any out of synch piece (maybe only something during Liar). Anyway, I still have the Pinnacle Studio project file and the original files saved so if you can suggest something easy and fast to do I can change something... even if I'll have to do again all the audio part... As the audio of the video was mono (and so it is in the new rebroadcast) having this in stereo (lossless) I think is an upgrade (even it the video it's not the best). Anyway, I did for my own pleasure so I can accept every negative comment, but only if it is construptive. :-) I've even re-encoded the audio to Dolby 5.1 (you can choose that audio if you want) using Audio dvd creator, but the rear channels are almost mute, probably because of the different audio sources used (the main difference is between radio source and original vhs source). Please let me know what you think... :-) Stone Cold Leo'82 B.R. You sit there and you thump your bible and you say your prayers, talk about John 3:16... Austin 3:16 says: I've just whipped you ass!! And that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so!

Molto grazie, Leo. How much are you sharing? I ask because a new tracker is being installed and my connection speed has considerably decreased since yesterday (mainly upload speed). My current download speed from you is 3 to 8 kb/sec I do not want any google ads here.

My current download speed from you is 3 to 8 kb/sec I think that I've got an upload limit at the moment... I've just connected remotely to my pc (I'm at work now) and I removed the limit so it may be better now... I'll check better when I'll be home (18:00 Italy time). Stone Cold Leo'82 B.R. Thanks for your hard work & sharing! The FM Broadcast is (soundwise) my favourite source for this show, that's why I prefer audio only instead of the old dvd...so I'm really excited about this one :-) Great Project!

Thanks very much - this sounds exciting ! It would be great if someone could do the same with the Hyde Park 1976 concert - all the audio sources I've heard are pretty average/poor with some "wow and flutter" ......... wasn't that gig broadcast on FM at the time ?
