WHICH of the Rock Masters editions do you have ?
The best (visually) version I have seen comes from the bootleg DVD Christmas Eve At Hammersmith

Good question, because I also have a Rock Masters version, from a TV Show (I think it's an australian one) called MusicMax. It's a mpg file (352 x 288) that I downloaded here in QZ 3 years ago or so. I guess if there's a better video quality available (DVD or not) for an improvement.
Sorry my english.Cheers!

Here is a capture :

New Info:
It´s the complete BBC "NBDtv" broadcast.

Has anyone ever tried to compile the best sources (both video and audio) to re-create as much of the whole concert as possible? If I had the sources - or even knew where to get them - I'd do it myself! :)

That's exactly what I want to do, I already got the old grey wistle test source, and now I'm searching for the best rock Masters version

I allready DID it, I used this source, synchronised it with my excellent compilation (which was shared here) and filled the gaps from the OGWT broadcast.

Hi, Pittrek! Sorry for bothering you. First of all, thank you for your relentless work, many thanks. My collection, which is going to be comprised of 4 CDS, huge collection, is already halfway. The 2 concerts of the 70's I've chosen are Portland, 74', and Hammersmith, 75', both part of your "best of the best", both downloaded in those threads. I must say that I just loved the way both sound. Thank you and, of course, for the other people who made it possible.

It's sounds really amazing, I enjoyed it a lot, the whole work you've don on Hammersmith is good.

So, let me just ask you: what is the difference between your compilation and "There's no Sanity Clause"? I know, I can go for the info on the web, but I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer so I'd love if you just pointed out, briefly, the differences between both as far as sources and sound quality are concerned.

Just a few lines, doesn't need to take you more than a minute, but it'll help clarifying the whole mess surrouding this concert, I don't even know what is what anymore, so many sources, versions, compilations, oh dear! I'm lost.

Thank you again for the share - I've been listen to Hammersmith a lot, and I enjoyed Brian's guitar work in Killer Queen, it's very clear in the version you shares, and it's thrilling the way he plays it, one can listen to it very clearly, because I often forget, due to bad sound quality or changes in the performances, that Killer Queen has great guitar lines besides the solo, so...!

Thanks! ANd I liked the "tatatadadaaaa" a lot, that was awesome! Terrific. Every share should have something like that.

He emulates the staccato-like theme done in the piano with his guitar in Killer Queen, it sounds pretty good live in Hamm 75', very cleverly done, and adds his own spin to it, with interesting chords and choice of notes.

So, thank you again, Pittrek!
