QueenNippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan. May 8th, 1985. All this info is saved onto an Acrobat PDF file. I've uploaded this torrent to mininova.org using The Pirate Bay's open tracker (http://open.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce) Please let me know if this is allowed or not. Ginger originally contacted me regarding to this show downloaded from the HUB cuz Whisperer (who was downloading this show from her) told her that there was a speed problem in this show, so Ginger sent me the show and I edited it using Goldwave 5.23 correcting that (higher) pitch problem. No SB errors. Before describing the lineage/process of this show I must to point out that this is the real date, there was no May 7 th show. Only days 8 and 9. Lineage: AUD > ?? > FLAC files > decompression using Goldwave > edit of the resulting WAV files (speed correcting about a semi-tone down) > re-encoding of the wav files to FLAC using FLAC Frontend (level 8) Quality: Good Total size: 557 MB Now this is part of one of the emails I sent to Ginger explaining my lossy analysis using TLH: “(…) after analyzing and listening carefully to the whole show, there are no gap/click probs, it seems to come from at least two sources and these are the results for lossless check with TLH first: Disc 1: C:\01.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 76%. C:\02.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 42%. C:\03.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 62%. C:\04.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. C:\05.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43%. C:\06.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 42%. C:\07.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 94%. C:\08.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. C:\09.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 58%. C:\10.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. C:\11.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 90%. C:\12.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 95%. C:\13.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. C:\14.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 92%. C:\15.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. C:\16.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. Disc 2: 01.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 99%. 02.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100%. 03.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100%. 04.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100%. 05.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 94%. 06.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100%. 07.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. 08.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. 09.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. 10.wav: source of track cannot be qualified. 11.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 49%. Even tho tracks 11 + 12 from disc 1 seem to be lossy and listening to 'em carefully, I tend to think they are lossless and I also think that the erratic results on the disc 1 are due to the average/low quality of the recording itself (at least the first part of the show) OR a bad transfer in one of the many(?) generation tapes.
The second part seem to be more "homogenic" and tracks 7 to 10 cannot be qualified because they sound like coming from another generation (higher IMO and with lower volume)
I've also checked the files looking at their spectrums using EAC and they look ''misleadingly'' lossy but after all my verdict stays with Lossless.”I want to know what you guys think about this show’s quality. Tracklist: Disc 1: (53:13)1. 'Machines' Intro (2:09) 2. Tear It Up (1:51) 3. Tie Your Mother Down (4:06) 4. Under Pressure (3:46) 5. Somebody To Love (3:55) 6. Killer Queen (2:29) 7. Seven Seas Of Rhye (1:16) 8. Keep Yourself Alive (2:51) 9. Liar (2:51) 10. Improvisation (4:07) 11. It's A Hard Life (4:16) 12. Vocal Improvisation (1:52) 13. Dragon Attack (4:18) 14. Now I'm Here (6:21) 15. Is This The World We Created...? (2:55) 16. Love Of My Life (4:10)

One thing we need to keep in mind when doing spectral analyses is that "not 100% lossless" may not necessarily mean it's mp3-sourced. If any of these recordings were transferred to/from a DAT tape for example, some data may have been lost if it was transferred in a certain way (using a 32 KHz sampling rate instead of CD audio's rate, 44.1 KHz). This is exactly what happened to the Tokyo 4-23-79 recording, which is why practically every version of that tape will appear to be lossy. It's a different kind of lossy - just not one that damages the sound nearly as badly as mp3 compression does.
