I'm going to go to this tour without listening to any of the music before hand. For 2005 i was listening to it all before so i knew the set list, this time i want to hear it all raw, like in the 70's and 80's when we hadn't all this technology, hopefully it will be a different experience.

The next time I feel the pressure building, I´m gonna wipe my ass before I take the dump. I like it raw.

It´s better to burn out than to fade away.

I'm going to go have a hamburger. But this time, I think I want to eat it raw. Like the cavemen used to do, before all that technology like fire. The way it was meant to be eaten.

I'll probably be feeling like Henke afterwards.

now una might have something there.strange but a nice thought.go to the gig and take a chance on the music.but i expect it would be imposible for a dedicated queen fan not to listen to the new album before hand.but a good idea all the same.i like it.

I applaud you.

That's pretty much exactly what I did when I went to see Van Halen last December.
I know it's not exactly a fair comparison, as it was basically a hits-type reunion tour, but to be fair, I was only familiar with three songs of theirs (all big hits), plus some later stuff with Mr. Hagar (none of which they played obviously...).

It was opposite from The Police. For Police, I listened to the Vancouver bootleg prior to going to the show here in Edmonton last year, so I was somewhat familiar with most of the songs on the setlist because of that.

Was a nice change of pace, because every other band I saw in 2007 other than VH, I knew a lot of their stuff already, if not all of it in some cases.

Was agony though at one point.....FIFTEEN MINUTE GUITAR SOLO!!
Holy geez, I don't mind guitar solos, don't get me wrong, I love them (even loved Brian's guitar solo when I saw Q+PR two years ago)........but man, Eddie seemed to go on FOREVER!

(A bit more reason to the agony....cos I was recording the show, and couldn't turn my head obviously - bootleggers here will understand why ;-)

I'm gonna listen to the new album, but I won't download any bootleg, I'm not gonna see any video on youtube, and I'm not gonna read any setlist beforehand. I want to enjoy each surprise they've prepared for the fans.
