I'm new to this board, so hello everybody!

I'm sure this has probably been discussed on here before. But does anyone know if there are any plans to release "Video Hits Three" on a DVD format?

Obviously "Video Hits Two" on DVD doesn't contain any of the Innuendo videos on it. So surely the band must release a third "hits" DVD?

I'm sure I read on Wikipedia a long time ago, that they were going to do this. However I read their Wiki article again the other day, and there is no mention of it anymore.

There were some great videos from the Innuendo album! It would be a great shame if we never got to see these on DVD along with commentaries and behind the scenes extras.

I appreciate that Queen+PR must be taking up a lot of the band's time. I can only hope that the two remaining members haven't forgotten the "glory days". Because us fans certainly haven't I'm sure!

If I could say one thing it would be dont trust Wikipedia.

Its likely that at some point they will release a third - I doubt they'll leave the 'series' unfinished. But, it wont be for awhile - with the Q+PR and The Singles Boxset coming out.

Just be patient!! :D

In my opinion, there won't be a Video Hits 3. It is more likely that the Innuendo videos will be put on a extra dvd to be released with a 20th anniversary edition of the album in 2011 (just guessing. The Made in heaven films were already released on dvd

My guess is that there will be a GVH3 forthcoming at some point. Why else would they have held the Innuendo videos off GVH2 if not to 'beef up' what would otherwise be a less substantial package.

I had set about compiling my own GVH3 purely in order to have all of the videos on the one disc, and managed to pull together 32 tracks (granted this includes all of the MiH films and comes right up to date, including the SINT and C-leb videos). So I'm sure QP will be able to scale that back a little by dropping some of the MiH vids which also had 'standard' videos also made and release a standard 20-ish-track GVH3 at some point in the future.

Although they're doing the right thing in not flooding the market with products. We've had releases fairly consistently since 2001, and releasing GVH3 in the middle of a new album campaign makes no marketing sense. I actually think the Singles Box is pretty badly timed.

Don't see this as a complaint or anything - but do you think they'd waste such a chance to make more money? I'm sure it'll come at some point.

If they had the balls to release GH3, there'll certainly be a GVH3 at some point.

Since Youtube reared it's head, my interest in a Greatest Hits DVD has plummeted.

I dearly liked having GH2 on DVD, but it didn't take me long to realise what a shambolic job they did with some parts of it... maybe Brian likes making it impossible to watch A Kind of Magic properly, but I would've liked more thought put into it.

I'm even less interested in a GHIII DVD nowadays because I know it'll have Wyclif Jean, Elton John and Robbie Williams on it, in some way shape or form.
God knows we'll probably get the Pink+Beyonce+Britney shit too.

I would happily settle for the Innuendo singles, maybe A Winters Tale.... *NONE* of those utterly embarrassing Made in Heaven films that were on the VHS.... then No One But You... I suppose I Was Born To Love You as well.

It'd be a short DVD, but I think people who want to buy crap should be given the option of buying GHIV - "The Shit That Shouldn't Have Happened".

My guess is that as HD and Blu Ray started becoming a serious format for audio at about the time GVH3 shoudl have come out, they are hopefully holding off so that these come out in the best possible format.

GVH3 will arrive in stores once there are enough QPR videos to fill it... ;)

QP were actually quite a ways towards producing this just before Q+PR started. My bet is that it'll be put out either Christmas 2009 or the first occasion after the Q+PR thing ends.

Some did like the one for "Heaven for Everyone" but others like "You Don't Fool Me" were great. They still deserve a more mainstream release so they should be on the eventual GVH3 DVD.

The "You Don't Fool Me" video was fucking terrible. What was with that long-faced shmuck anyway?

I would rather have seen a Freddie Mercury muppet constructed out of potato peelings mime the song.

Quit giving out spoilers for the new video.
