I got an error while I was trying to post a topic last monday.

RIP Richard, still hard to believe that he's gone. He made within PF some of the most atmospheric music with his piano and organ. He was very inspiring.

I tried to start this thread just about once every half hour after finding out... a friend told me only about half an hour after the news broke.

Sad stuff, really. He was great.

So did I.

And yes it is sad that Rick has gone.

I tried to do it too, but it gave me an error message, so I just left a note on the Random Thoughts Thread.

The dream of seeing a Pink Floyd reunion died with him. :(

I tried as well...

Wright is one of my favorite keyboardists. I was very sad to hear that he had died.

Add me to the list of people that wanted to post this but wasn't able to...

Very sad and totally unexpected loss...
He was a unique talent and way underrated in terms of being responsible for the sound of the band. Forget Waters and Gilmour. When it comes to the charisteristic Pink Floyd sound, it was HIM!

Rest in peace, maestro!

Waters should have died, not Rick.

RIP Rick!

I was rather shocked when I read this horrible news last Monday evening. His loss will be felt.

I was absolutely gutted when I heard this news on Monday. Made my day miserable from that day on, even at work.

For once, I'll agree on something like this.
There is no Pink Floyd anymore in my eyes, without Richard. He was essential to their sound on nearly every album, bar The Final Cut, he was on.
I can understand if Roger, David and Nick will set aside their differences once more to play a tribute for Rick, but please don't call it Pink Floyd :-(
