SO we have nearly all had a chance to listen to it a few times, how does is compare, and one other thing they decided to leave a track off to put Runaway on which one would it be? For me this is a great album, back to the rock free I love, so I put this one pretty high I guess for me it would go NATO DATR Sheer Heart Attact NOTW JAZZ Innuendo Q11 Cosmos Rocks Made In Heaven The Game AKOM The Works The Miracle Hot Space Q1 Flash Gordon I feel strange about Q1, I hardly ever listen to it but there are tracks I love, yet I would never rate it very high for some reason.

I honestly don't know yet. Its still so new and exciting that its hard to be objective because I'm listening to it all the time(because its new). I think this would be a question better asked in a couple of years or so when you can compare how much you listen to it in comparison with the other albums. But I definitely think its by far the best studio album ever done by Queen and Paul Rodgers! He He..

Well that is certainly totally honest! I love the term pants, use it myself a lot but not to describe The Cosmos Rocks which I think is pretty darn good. The name however IS totally PANTS

You've got it about right there - although I thought Q1 was brilliant in it's own way.

I don't rank this album in that line because it's another Queen, not the 4 guys we used to know but half of it with a completely different style you can't compare it. It's different and although it's not my Queen anymore it's is just a good rock album

In just a bit over 10 years of writing in Queen Forums I've never ranked all the albums but I'll give it a try now. This is all personal taste and it may vary according to my mood. NATO The Game SHA DATR Q2 Hot Space (sorry, it's my guilty pleasure) Q1 NOTW Innuendo The Works Jazz Cosmos Rocks Made In Heaven The Miracle AKOM Flash Gordon A bit of my reasoning behind this list (in case anyone cared)is that I tried to give as much importance to the enjoyability factor of the album as well as the overall quality and "Queen-genius" factor. For instance: - I rarely listen to Q2 but I placed it high because I know it's a damn good album, a masterpiece. - I'm loving the Cosmos Rocks and I enjoy it greatly but I am aware that, while a good album, it is not a masterpiece like ANATO, Q2 or ADATR. That's why it's not rated very high. - Hot Space was the first album I had after Greatest Hits (I got it as gift at the same time as ADATR) so I am very fond of it.

I think it ranks somewhere between Heathen Chemistry by Oasis, and Fun In Space by Roger Taylor. Not much of a Queen connection in there (THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A NEW BAND, RIGHT?) so there's no point in raking it in comparison to Queen albums, is there?

Oh, I love Heathen Chemistry by the way! hehe :) Too bad Oasis' later albums did not succeed as much as their first 3. Heathen Chemistry is much better than Be Here Now (overproduced and overlong crap). Back to Queen, well, I think you're right. Still, it is interesting to see that some people rank MIH so low, being their best selling album and -until a few years ago- considered near to a masterpiece of some sort.
