Wow, rather interesting. I never thought they'd have the balls to tour as Led Zeppelin without Robert Plant.

Doesn't change my mind about definitely wanting to go see them live, even if at least once, now Robert or no Robert.
I just hope that whoever replaces Robert is very good, and also has a high range ;-)
....and that he might be able to withstand any initial criticism from the fans :-)

Perhaps this could be kind of like a new Q+PR style project (am serious here when I say that!) :-)

I've no idea if you're serious or not, and I don't care.
It's going to suck cock. They'll pick someone like Sebastian Bach or some other total loser with a terrible voice, but it'll be critically praised the world over I'm sure.

Well apparently Robert has "two months" to make a choice. So, will wait and see how things play out.

What the fuck...!? As much as I hate to accept it, I've heard a lot about this and it might just be true. I'm all for a reunion if Plant is involved but I'm afraid they're going to go on without him and evolve into some bullshit like Led Zeppelin + Leona Lewis or whatever...
If this does happen(which it probably will), Led Zeppelin, arguably the greatest band of all time is going to be reduced to trash like Queen + Paul Rodgers.

from digital spy

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a131149/zeppelins-plant-says-yes-to-reunion-tour.html

Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant has finally agreed to join his bandmates for a reunion tour.

Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham had been rehearsing without the frontman following his claims that the music industry's endless paperwork had put him off the idea of a comeback.

However, a source told The Sun that Plant has finally caved in and has been welcomed back with open arms.

"The rest of the band had all but given up on Robert joining them, but they were determined to go ahead so had started to seriously explore other avenues. When Robert realised the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard," the source said.

"He realised he couldn’t face the thought of not being involved. The band were over the moon when he told them the news. They are now forging ahead with the tour plans and they can’t wait to get on the road."

The tour, set for next summer, follows the massive success of their one-off reunion show at London’s O2 arena in December.

Lead Zeppelin would be a nice name. We could have a joint tour, Zep without Plant, Q+PR and The Doors of the 21st Century (with the Creed's singer, not Ian Astbury - which might be busy with Lead Zeppeling anyway).
