Instead of the drum solo, which he says he hates anyway, it would be great if he performed Tenament Funster with the rest of the band. He sang it in some Cross and Solo shows and it was always a highlight.

Watching this clip, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WwkRMqT1sk I see the full idea that the kit is being built up as he's playing ,which looks ridiculous. Surely with all there money, they could afford to have  stage B at the end of the runway, go up and down and have the kit assembled under the floor for this solo and raised when it was necessary? I dont wanna pay £50 to see a roadie get in the bloody way!!!

I disagree think it is pretty neat the way that it's done, but everybody is different.

I agree, I would rather see a real song being played liked Tenement Funster.  This nonsense about playing songs on a bass guitar with his drum sticks is asinine.  It's a joke really.  And I find it strange them building the drum kit while he's playing.

of course I´d prefer to have Tenement Funster or any other song ... but I also prefer this drum solo in the way it´s done rather than the classical way.

It is really fun to see how the solo grows as the kit is built

I think it only works with a 2nd drummer, as Rog was wasting his time in singing TF, not playing :-D

Do you know what?
I have NEVER seen any band do a drum solo using an electric bass and have thier drumkit built up as the solo progresses.
I like it, and I hope they keep the idea for when they get to the UK concerts.

Sure, I'd love to see Roger do Tenement Funster as well.
It annoys me that apart from a couple of songs, it's the same bloody set list as the last tour!
Get Paul Rodgers to learn the lyrics to "Liar" and "Now I'm Here!"

It's like something out of Spinal tap. The only thing missing is Roger tuning the bass as he's beating it.

No it's not a waste of 2 1/2 minutes.... no real fan of Queen would say that

This is Roger having a bit of fun and i think it's awesome !!

Yep i would like him to do Tenament Funster but i think there's as much chance of that as i have i Brian playing It's Late ! ( which i would love to hear live)

Let's enjoy the tour for what it is and stop pulling down their choice of solo
