been only to 3 shows, Rome, Barcelona and Madrid; Barcelona is my hometown, but Madrid was amazing. This is my ranking in terms of musical quality + audience response:

1.- Madrid - (+: Las Palabras De Amor, Surf´s Up complete, new video for Bo Rhap; -: Hammer To Fall as opener)
2.- Barcelona - (+: snippet of Freddie´s "Barcelona" by Brian, We Believe and Bad Company; -: HTF as opener)
3.- Rome - (+: Surf´s Up as opener; -: no changes regarding previous setlists, no Warboys, etc)

I've done 10 shows on the tour to date. Both Moscow dates, all the UK ones (so far) and Madrid.
And I have to agree with the comment above Madrid takes top slot for me by quite a distance.

Fantastic audience.

oh, now, I write from my wonderful Italy, and I've been to both Rome and Milan Shows last September: great shows, very emotional the one in Rome.
But I watched and heard so many concerts in your country and I have to say you guys in Spain are the best ! You're THE BEST European Fans !
So warm, so competent.
God bless you!
God bless Queen!

bye

I only have been to Hamburg. But if I compare my memories to the handful of recordings shared here up to now - iI have listened to all of them; Berlin, Milan and London at least 3 times so far - I can say that musically Hamburg was the best so far. Brilliant guitar and good vocals, no obvious mistakes and a good setlist (perfect opening imho) as well as a very good mood in the band - relaxed and sometimes even funny. And good sound. But of course my opinion might be biased a bit just because I was actually there.
If I take into account everything - audience participation mainly - Hamburg must step back. The audience was so quiet, I had to wonder why the band was giving it all till the end.
Still an unforgettable show, naturally.

I have a pretty good job but not that rich. Just saved up money and days off work for a while in order to make it. I agree it is not cheap though.

I am quite fortunate in where I live in the UK. 5 or 6 of the UK shows are within a 2hr drive from my house so for those I just drive there and back the same day. Of the ones that were further away. Booked hotels / flights very early in order to reduce costs. Got some great bargins. Flying to places like Glasgow and Madrid was very cheap. Flights from Nottingham to Glasgow and Glasgow back to Cardiff cost me £0+taxes on BMI (so about £20 each) cheaper than driving.

For the Euopean concerts I always pick a city I have not been to before or fancy a holiday in so I get to kill two birds with one stone. Moscow was really a normal holiday. I just synced the dates up to co-incide with the Q+PR shows and I had friends who went with me which helped split some of the costs on hotel rooms etc.

I still have a few more shows planned but will not be going anywhere else for quite a while after the tour is over.

No problem. I do realise I am quite fortunate to be able to afford so many shows on this tour.
One major advantage is I am single and don't have any kids so I don't have to pay for anyone else to go.

I'm same boat as you, David. 2 Kids and a wife. Otherwise, I would have been at a good few of the UK gigs (if not , all). Drove all over the place in the 80's, following them.

I'm still kicking myself for not taking a good quality camcorder to the SECC, which i was offered. Thought i might not get in with it. Dam dam dam.

And why can`t you leave your family for a while and follow the band? It`s absolutely possible...

I've been to 12 gigs so far. Milan was pretty good (audience participation), surprisingly enough I also enjoyed Zurich (perfect sound in the venue) and I'm looking forward to Prague on Friday (sold out hall with 16000+ people).

I'm looking forward to Prague and Vienna, when I'm back home all my concerts are over and I have nothing to live for anymore :(
