I was really hoping for Tenement Funster at one of these UK shows. Oh well... maybe when hell freezes over.

Thomas Zeidler mentions a "full version of '39 played by the band" - is it the usual version or did they really play it in full (= not starting from the chorus?).

Brian messed up in the first part of 39 and he made a joke about it, brought the band on and said to prove that there was no backing tape they'd do the whole lot as a band.

Yes, of course but did the band version begin with "don't you hear my call" as always?

At the 02 arena on Friday night, Spike's accordion didn't work so this might make that night's 39 unique on a bootleg?

No it was the whole band from the beginning of the song - they didn't begin with 'do you hear my call'.
Also in Feel Like Making Love there was no guitar solo, instead Paul did the solo on his harmonica.
The whole of Voodoo was played as well - not sure if it was a short version in other shows.

I'm confused now :-) So there was no Bri+Rog version of '39 before the band came on the stage?

Heh. What happened:
Brian came on as usual. He introduced Roger. They started the song then Brian messed up and he and Roger shared a look of surprise. So Brian brought the rest of the band on and they did the whole song from the start.

And on Friday Spike's accordion did not work so they had to do it like in Freddie's days!
