Hey, I would even buy a double-disc with just all the BBC studio-sessions!

And YES, three years later I WOULD buy the tripple-disc with the BBC studio-sessions and one of those concerts as a bonus.

Nice in some ways... but.. do we need Wembley AGAIN?

That room could be filled with something more intersting I think.

There´s a lot of possibilities for boxes, each one of us could idealice one... but...

Cheers!

Absolutely no need to re-release Wembley again, or Live Aid and the guest artists will never give their permissions for their unedited performances to be included for a *complete* Tribute Concert.

Other than that - absolutely - bring it on.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who likes this stuff.
Any idea how to make QPL employees read this ? [/img]

I know this will never happen, but, I would rather see Hammy 79 instead of Wembley again, and take out the 77 interviews and put in the WATC video shoot concert.  Now, that would be sweet.

I'd like to own the BBC sessions complete, so it'd interest me. No Wembley 86 though. Switch that for Hammersmith 79 and that'd seal the deal.

Good effort.  I think in general the thinking behind how record companies put this kind of thing together is to, if you will, hold back and not put all the eggs in one basket.  Why have one huuuuuuuuge box when you can extract cash from the willing punters with a selection of boxes of different sizes over a number of years (see current effort with the singles box set).

The box you suggest is pretty big and based on other sets around would cost several hundred pounds - OK I'd buy it as would many other people, however I think the BBC stuff in its own right - even the complete sessions on their own would be worth it, embellished with perhaps some 'new' photos and interviews.

I agree that wembley and live aid are overkill, whilst I reckon there could be some mileage in re-packaging the Freddie tribute concert into something simple like the recent REM live set - 2 CD's and 1 DVD - although the Freddie concert would probably need more discs!

Anyway - keep dreaming...............currently I would just be happy with my free album club tracks from QOL which still haven't appeared!!!!

I'll second that.  That set afterward was such a great performance.
