In a contest among best voices in rock music, Freddie Mercury is on second place after Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. The list is from the biggest newspaper in Norway:

...but I'm sure we all agree on this forum who's the best  vocalist...?

"best voice" is an undefinable criterion, and thus it is impossible to name anyone who has the "best voice in rock", as there is no objective way of determining such a thing.

Yeah, I know.

But this was a contest/pull for a newspaper - so probably the band with most fans (and readers of the newspaper) will win...

Exactly. I think my neighbour has got the best rock voice. Every time I hear him singing, I feel like throwing a rock at him.
