does anyone happen to know what microphone he used either live or in the studio

may be hard to answer but would be very much apreaciated

I think he often used Shure mics on the stage. Look it up on www.queenconcerts.com  ---> information --> tour instruments

I think Freddie used often Shure mics on stage. You can look it up on queenconcerts.com under  the menu information and submenu tour instruments.
