I think I would really enjoy the song without all the movie lines, and sword fighting, and general noise other than lyrics.

Does such a version exist?

I doubt it. Even the eYe remixes have those effects in them, I believe.

yes,

you can find it at Queen: The eYe.

3 versions of the song; this is the info you can read at queenvault.com; I also think that The eye Version 1 is very enjoyable

cheers!

Gimme The Prize (The eYe Version 1) 4:03
Written by Brian May

Appears on: Queen: The eYe

From the Electronic Arts videogame, Queen: The eYe. An excellent version
that is quite different to the album version. There is no guitar intro,
instead this version starts with Freddie's vocals. All of Kurgan's lines
are edited out of the track and sword fighting sound effects from Highlander
are gone as well. I prefer this version to the album version.

Gimme The Prize (The eYe Version 2) 4:12
Written by Brian May

Appears on: Queen: The eYe

From the Electronic Arts videogame, Queen: The eYe. An instrumental mix,
with no lead vocals or Kurgan dialogue from Highlander. The middle section
before Brian's drum solo has some new effects as well. The last 10 seconds
are completely silent.

Gimme The Prize (The eYe Version 3) 4:11

Written by Brian May

Appears on: Queen: The eYe

From the Electronic Arts videogame, Queen: The eYe. A hybrid of the other
2 "Eye" mixes, this one has both Freddie’s vocals and Kurgan (who even
has some extra lines), but no sword-fighting effects. Again, there is
no guitar intro and the added effects from version 2 are retained. 8 seconds
of silence end the track.

it´s in the "Queen: The eYe" videogame, do you know it ?
it includes 4 audio discs with instrumental versions, edits, different mixes, etc of many songs, including the Gimme The Prize mixes I listed above.

As it is official product, sharing these songs here is forbidden , I´m sorry

Drop me an email through my website... I'll send you my Eye discs if you'd like.
