As requested for anyone his input to share Brian May solo concerts in this topic: http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1175549/brian-may-quality-frenzy-index-here.aspx I go share a few Flac concerts. This time I share the Groningen concert from 1998-09-24. Info, lineage + tracklist: 1998, Sep. 24 Groningen, Martinihal FLAC (level 8) > WAV > remastering > FLAC (level 8) Sound: very good/excellent Source: audience Comments: Includes 'Sleeping on the sidewalk'! I (Tim alias 'Epic Dreams' in the Queenhub) remastered the show (removed clicks etc...). There seems to be a cut at the end of the first part of 'Resurrection'. Disc 1: 01. Dance with the devil 02. Only make believe 03. C'mon babe 04. Space 05. Since you've been gone 06. Business 07. Keyboard solo 08. China belle 09. Fat bottomed girls 10. I want it all 11. Headlong 12. Tear it up 13. The show must go on 14. Bass solo 15. Last horizon 16. Love of my life 17. Sleeping on the sidewalk 18. Driven by you Disc 2: 01. On my way up 02. Hammer to fall (slow/fast) 03. Guitar solo 04. Resurrection 05. Drum solo 06. Resurrection finale 07. Another world 08. We will rock you 09. Tie your mother down 10. No one but you 11. All the way from Memphis This concert is checked with Audiochecker to see if the files are from lossy sources. If Audiochecker has some negativ advise, I have checked the concerts also with Tau-analyzer. If okay with Tau, I see them as lossless source. Thanks to the original taper/uploader of this concert where ever you are ! For the complete recording of this concert DON'T use the torrent in this first post, but use the torrent on page 4 of this announce. In that reply you can also find working mediafire links and Rapidshare links.

I had long time ago (mwohh not that long time ago) a good working CD-R from the Utrecht show from 1998. It's sad to see that everything is getting older, including this CD-R. When I was organising my Queen-collection last 9 months, I couldn't save this CD-R before it was unreadable. Maybe somebody here on the forum can provide here this Utrecht 1998 concert. I would be very happy to see this one in Flac ! In MP3 it's available in the Queenhub. It would be very nice to see this concert because I was there in the audience that night ! Thanks so far. Greetings Bokkepoot p.s., I know I have to post this in the request-section, but I have here everybody his attention ;)

Jeroen will share his Utrecht masters (wich are better than the "Mayday" version imho) somewhere in May. That's Really Good News !! I was talking about the Mayday version, but if there is a iyho a better master one, that would be really cool :) Thanks for the quick answer. greetings, Bokkepoot "We think it's better to play Under Pressure badly than not play it at all" Brian May; Manchester 04-05-05

Indeed, my Utrecht 98 recording is on it's way. Which is fairly uncirculated - I never bothered because the Mayday version was already wide spread. My own humble opinion is also that my version is, despite maybe some more audience noise, a bit clearer then the Mayday version... ;-)
