Hi !

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but if you want to share something from your collection .....

Sharing a CD :

1) Rip the CD with your PC to WAV files (using e.g. ExactAudioCopy - http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ )
2) Encode the WAV files to FLAC format (preferably) with Trader's Little Helper ( http://tlh.easytree.org/ )
3) Write some text file which will include at least some basic information, like the date, venue, tracklist ...
4) Now you have to options - to use either one of the upload servers or to do a torrent

If you upload it to an upload server :
   - select one of these servers : http://www.rapidshare.com , http://www.mediafire.com , http://www.megaupload.com or something similar
   - using zip or rar split the folder which contains the FLAC files into 100MB parts if you want to upload it to RapidShare or MediaFire
   - upload it to your chosen server

If you want to start a torrent :
   - check this thread : http://www.queenzone.com/forums/507693/updated-how-to-post-a-torrent-on-queenzone-com.aspx

5) Start a new thread in this forum : http://www.queenzone.com/forums/forum_view.aspx?Q=4 and put there the links or the torrent file

Sharing a DVD is basically the same, you just need to get the DVD files to your hard disc with a different program - like DVDDecrypter or ImgBurn - depending on what "target format" do you plan to use.

Hope it helps a little. And of course I hope I understood you correctly, I had to "parse" your post so that I have a clue what you tried to write (I'm not a native English speaker :-) ), sorry :-)

And please don't upload any official material

If you have any of the Irish gigs in good quality, make those your first uploads.[/img]

If you dont have them, here is what is ready to download in relation to Ireland.

Dublin 1984 Audio good quality.

Slane 1986 Audio excellent quality.

Slane 1986 63 minute dvd from vhs, not great quality wise, but well worth a look.

Two little things to add :

1/ -Before uploading anything, after having ripped your CDs and created the files in Flac format, just run Audiochecker (http://www.dester.hu/English/home_e.html), and see the results it gives you. If the files are MPEG with probability 95%, then don't worry uploading, your files are lossy, which a lot of quality has been taken out by a compression to MP3 before your CDs were created. So you'll most probably find better quality recordings here. If you have a quality "CDDA" that means the quality is there. You can ask before uploading if you're not sure by posting the results of this test and one track for example to someone here on the forum who would be happy to help you.
2/ -if you have to zip the files, using Winrar for example, you can choose how hard the files are compressed; you have to choose the lowest compression (in fact no compression, the "storage" option, I don't know it is named in the english version of Winrar but in French it is called "stocker"). That way, you keep all the quality of your files. If you compress the files for creating a rar file, even a slight compression, it will take some quality out, therefore your share would not be at his optimum appeal.

Just thought it was important to add, but thanks to Pittrek for all he said previously, a nice little guide.
Thanks for your will to share. If you still need some help to upload anything or find it difficult to do, don't worry I (or others) can also help you and upload them for you, just ask and we would be pleased to help you.
