"DEFIANT MICHAEL JACKSON is determined to make a full recovery after doctors
assured him that his skin cancer is treatable.

The 50-year-old Beat It singer was diagnosed with the disease in recent weeks.

Experts found spots of skin cancer on his upper body and pre-cancerous cells
on his face.

But the pop legend WILL be fit to perform his £150million
comeback gigs at London’s O2 Arena from July. And aides say he is
looking forward to the 50 sell-out shows — amid predictions they
will be his most spectacular ever.

A source said: “Michael’s tests showed spots of skin cancer
on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face."

When I heard this I thought people were just taking the absolute piss, but I guess not? I'm upset but also annoyed. All the plastic surgery he's done over the decades, I mean, what do you expect? This was going to happen sooner or later... :-S

We need to hear proper sources, not from the stupid Sun newspaper... It's not hard to believe that this is true, but then again, we all know The Sun are a pack of liars.

I stopped believing The Sun in the spring of 1964.

Think about it.

Didn't he slag The Sun in one of his songs("Black or White")? Or was it some other/fictional newspaper?
As far as I can remember the lyrics were like this:
"They print my message in the Saturday Sun..."

I don't know who I have more trouble believing.

A shady newspaper published by vultures who prey on lies and sensationalism, or a person who had everything to become the greatest music star of his generation and then completely went to ruin his career with bizarre antics.

These tabloids are all a bunch of cocksuckers, but bear in mind that they were right about Freddie...

It's so sad what's happened to him. And now this...it's really sad. It's such a treacherous illness - I have to check my skin for it very often because I'm very likely to develop it. The doctor get furious when I "forget" about the appointments. Hehehe. I have already had some spots removed from my skin for prevention sake.

Maybe, who knows, Michael Jackson had that in-built belief which is so strong in many people, myself for sure included everytime I skip the appointments, for instance: we play with the idea that youth is endless and that we are eternal. That there might be a way to avoid getting older!!!

It's a comment on how unbearable it has become in our culture the idea of getting older. It's not as if there were any good aspects to getting older or as if human beings had never dreamt of preserving their youth much before the age of plastic surgeries and so on, but I find people nowadays outright refusing the fact that they are going to get older, and they get kind of deformed in the process.

Aging sucks, I'd say, but aging happens - it's better to learn to deal with it in a healthy way than deny the fact. :op

Here's hope the doctors found out about the illness while it's still in its early stage.

Take care you all. I wish you all a lot of joy, happiness and health. Many of you Queenzoners are very dear to me and I hope you guys take care of yourselves. :))))

Best regards,

Yara

Between black or white, Micheal chose white.
