Well the first part of this post is to just show the newest Queen covers...this time wait for it...Boyzone!
Quite fun looking and actually did cover a fair few songs in about 10 mins:

However a bigger point is needed to be raised, is it just me or does Queen seem to be covered more in the last 12 months or so then before?
I mean Keane's, Celion Dion, Pink, Boyzone, Dream Theater and there are probably more.

Sure covers have always been done but those guys there are all pretty popular, esp the first 4 who are mainstream, just seems interesting to me.

I'd like to add some more people who seem to mention a certain Queen influence:

- Kathy Perry, Lady GaGa, Green Day, Adam Lambert and The Killers..

It seems like Queen are getting bigger and bigger as time goes by. It doesnt suprise me.

Yes, Lady GaGa doing Bohemian Rhapsody is just what we need.
Oh, actually, I saw her doing a cover of Viva la Vida on youtube.Quite amusing!

A whole album of it - what worries me before I listen to it, is that the song lengths all seem very close to those of the originals - these may be the least imaginative covers ever...

More & more Artits seem to be infulenenced by Queen which is Great, Covers can be good cos it makes people go and see the orginal aswell. but there are some epic failures eg: Mcfly's cover of "don't stop me now" (lol just my opion)
