Hi people,
Could anyone please give me any info on a couple of Queen picture disc lps?
Ive collected alot of picture lps over the years but you dont seem to see the first Queen and Queen 11
on picture disc, you tend to see it start from 74 sheer heart attack.
I think the 1st queen picture disc is canadian?? Am i correct?
If anyone has any info about the first two queen lps on picture disc
and could e-mail me that would be great!
               Cheers!

Hey there,

as far as I know the first picture dics from Queen was a french release of the Jazz-album. But be careful it was bootleged many times.

The second one was their Greatest Hits album. This picture dics was released in Hungaria. But I'm in doubt with this one because it shows a picture from 1982 or 1984 so it could't be released in 1981. Maybe BALKATON (the label from Hungaria) released it a few years later.

The next doubtless picture disc release was the 12" version if the single "It's A Hard Life" in 1984 in Great Britain.

I never heard or read about any other official picture-discs release of a Queen album except the french printing of "Jazz".

I hope I could help
regards
W.

Hi! Balkaton is not a hungarian label. Perhaps a bulgarian.
