i mean this is Queen's best album
it is very dark and complicatet the songs are power full
freddies vocal performas is very good but it was  getting better at the who come out later
Brians guitar work is very good songs like white Queen and ogre battle is very good examples
the drumming is much better than Queen 1 and its maybe the album with the best drumming of Queen
the song writing is creative. Brian has emotion texts. Freddie has hard songs and more power full texts.
the artwork is Queens most known and is realie show how the album is.
the song.

song character 10/10 the song is one of Queens best the piano the drumms and the vocals is amazing.

White Queen (As It Began)

this song is a song brian wrote when he still was on school.
song character 10/10 this son is my favorite Queen song the guitar solo is amazing and the piano is the best in Queens history and the vocal is exselent

Some Day One Day

the song is made by brian and sung by brian
song character 8/10 vey good song but not as good as 39.

The Loser in the End

wrote by roger and sung by roger
song characte  6.5/10 this the worst song on the album but the drumms is pretty good

Ogre Battle
ewrote by freddie
song character 10/10 this is a very hard song it has extrem guitar and drumms and vocals

The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke

song character 9.5/10 a strange song but very good

Nevermore

song character 10/10 a short and heart breaking song
The March of the Black Queen

song character 10/10 a long and amazing track it is seen by many as the best song by Queen
Funny How Love Is

song character 7.5/10 a very strange song who has the wall of sound tecnich
Seven Seas of Rhye

song character 10/10 the song was a hit but it is as  song you dont get bord of

I never get tired of listening to the wonderful "Ogre Battle-Fairy Feller's-Nevermore-Black Queen" sequence ... tremendous !!
the world needs a new 5.1 mix for this album, Brian (ahem ... and Rog) !!!

Seven Seas of Rhye was probably the first song I fell in love with.  I heard Bo Rhap, WWRY, WATC, and stuff like that, but SSOR put me over the top for some odd reason.

i really l o v e  the treatment of 'White Queen' on the 77-US-tour. The recording of the Seattle gig for me is THE musical highlight of the 70s queen-bootlegs. perfection by any means.

and yes... a 5.1 mix was really nice, indeed !
i cannot share the opinion that 'loser in the end' is only average. man, this tune rocks like hell.

I LOVE this incredible album.
Sure, for me is first or second on my top lst.

One doubt: Why The March of The Black Queen was never played live complete...I mean, it only appears in "those" meddleys???

Well .... I´d say this is one of their most ellaborated songs in terms of orchestrations, choruses, change of tempos .... quite difficult to recreate live .... except for the part they actually did !

I honestly don't understand what people see in 5.1 mixes. Give me a good stereo-mix any day of the week. QII could do with a *good* revisiting of the master tapes, though.

yes, but many Queen songs are quite ellaborated, and they usually played them in a more "rock" sound.
Anywayy Queen II is always a pleasure to listen to.

Additionally it's worth noting that Queen II is cited by many Rock musicians as their favourite Queen album, including Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Dream Theater, Muse and no end of others. I still can remember listening to it for the first few times in a darkened room on an old radiogram, that's for our older readers...

Queen 2 would probably be the most perfect Queen album, if it didn't contain The Loser In The End - surely one of Queen's worst tracks.  It just totally ruins the flow of the album, and I always miss it out to keep the overall mood going?

I've always wondered whether the rest of the band, plus Roy Thomas Baker, privately agreed with this?  Can't help feeling they must have!!  They really should have said "it's a B-side, Rog" and let Brian write another classic to finish the side.

Still, perhaps all great albums have their "Within You Without You" moment ?  [/img]

The Queen II get famou because of two musics... "Seven seas of rhye" and  "ogre battle" i think!!!!!! It's the two better musics in the albem.... Al musics of the album are  good!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the Loser In The End.  I agree it's the weakest track but I like it a lot.

That must be why Jeff Scott Soto didn't perform it at the 2003 Queen convention.
