why not?
It's recorded in a pre MP3 time area. Probably on some analogue master cassette.

I'm sure it's out there lossless somewhere...

No, it definitely is confirmed.

There was no such thing as a pocket mp3 recorder in 1993, so the original lossless copy is out there.  The only possible exception would be if the master was destroyed in a fire or something, and no other digital copy was made... but that's pretty slim to none.

You got me there.  I guess the only way we can know is if the taper shares a copy of his master.  But the overall point here is that some collector who isn't the taper can't categorically state that there is no lossless version without knowledge of the gear that was used to make the recording.

I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding :-) I bet AP-Racing just wanted to write "I didn't manage to trace a lossless version". We're not native speakers and we make mistakes :-)
