I'm off to London at the end of the month. Could anyone recommend any good record stores where I might pick up some Queen rarities? I am susposed to be working, so I won't have the time to trawl through loads

Many thanks

Revival is still down Berwick Street in Soho - rock & roll stuff there. Great place. See this article:www.timeout.com/london/music/features/4441/Independent_London_record_shops.html#articleAfterMpu

I did think the shop on Hanway Street did rock stuff but maybe it doesn't. There used to be a shop down there that did independent rock releases..

you can go to the above mentioned shops but i would recommend the record and tape exchange at notting hill tube station. in upper floor you might get some unusual or uk-only queen stuff like keep yourself alive 7" , hard life deleted sleeve 7"or similar stuff. they get new stuff all the time. there are many exchage shops close together so make sure you are in the right one. the shop in berwick street is very expensive and touristy and hanway street hasn t chaged their stuff for the last 20 years as it seems. there is also a record and tape exchage at camden lockmarket, but that at notting hill is better. good luck!
