Queen Lyon, France Palais des Sports April 20, 1982 This is a merge of two audience sources: 1) AUD > ? > CDR (x) > WAV > FLAC level 8 2) AUD > ? > CDR (x) > WAV > FLAC level 8 disc 1)Flash (tape), The Hero, Tie Your Mother Down, Action This Day, Play The Game, Staying Power, Somebody To Love, Get Down Make Love, guitar solo, Under Pressure, Love Of My Life Disc 2)Save Me,Fat Bottomed Girls, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Death On Two Legs (intro), Bohemian Rhapsody, Now I'm Here, Dragon Attack, Now I'm Here (reprise), Another One Bites The Dust, Sheer Heart Attack, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, God Save The Queen There are no edits, essentially. Part of the inferior source is simply tagged onto the end of disc 1, as it contains a bit of Love Of My Life missing from the better-sounding source, kindly supplied by TimBHM. Enjoy! Sir GH I received this from Bob (thanks again, Sir!) so I left his notes untouched. I've only added the tracklisting. Some nice moments in this show you'll all enjoy, I'm sure:-) Enjoy! on my way up

Indeed. It's a piece of Queen history that most don't know... They flew from Osaka to Lyon, and back to Osaka all in a span of 2 days. They were jetlagged beyond belief.

Thanks a lot for that good share !! Nice, something from France ! Not the best period nor place, I mean there were some other better gigs on that tour, my guess is. Nowadays I don't think they would tour in France in another place than Paris and will only play one show in France. On this Hot Space European tour, back in 1982, they played three times in France, and two of them in another place than Paris. Anyway, it is still interesting to see how popular that band is, plus Freddie tries some things with the audience, it is nice to hear him try some French words, and make to stimulate the audience differently to sing intro to "Fat Bottomed Girls", as Bob points on his website www.queenlive.ca. By this time, what Freddie said, you did ! Now a little piece of history about the opener, the band "Pow Wow Wow"... Has anybody had the chance to see them live on that gig/tour ? This is a strange band, that evolved and played different genres through a four-album life. Did you know that someone called "Lieutenant Lush co-led the ban for only a short time ? It was a follower of that sort of new-wave band. Shortly after, in 1981, he quit the band, and re-named himself... Boy George, and created Culture Club. With a little luck we could have had Freddie and Boy George sharing the same stage ! Strange cocktail isn't it ? I think both got on well. The lead female singer of that band was only 15. Thanks to a picture of the band with her nude, a "Déjeuner Sur l'Herbe" alike (a paint from the French artist Monet, "), the first LP of the band became a "success". Marketing, marketing... All that and the rest of the story on www.bowwowwow.org. Just interesting sometimes to watch at the story of those opening bands. But I talk too much ! Thanks Bob and Raf for the share !! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. wanna trade ?

See this is why I should read things first. I got nicely started downloading this when I re-read the blurb at the top and saw my name. Then it occurred to me that I'd probably got this one already! :-D
