As far as I know no remix of Spread Your Wings by Trent Reznor was ever released. However, Nine Inch Nails did cover Get Down Make Love which features a lot of samples from the original version.

Aren't these remixes official - and as such should not be uploaded here?

I don't see a problem with official promo only material. The record companies aren't having any revenue taken away from them. And TYMD is unreleased isn't it? No one even seemed to have a problem with the RT Marc Bolan performance from the official Japanese DVD rip, so........

That TYMD remix is horrific. Is Trent Reznor deaf?

For the record: there indeed never was a Spread Your Wings remix by TR.

And YES, these actually are to be regarded as officially released materials and are actually not allowed to be shared here on QZ! :-(
If uploader could please remove...

Sorry, I've removed them now, but they were never officially released to my knowledge. Would a promo count as an official release?

Thanks, GinjaNinja!

I'm afraid so. Wether tracks are 'available' in shops or not, does not realy make a difference. It's about if a track is copyright protected or not. The content of promo's are always copyright protected. Although not for sale in shops, they are officially released items.

For all the new people here: you will notice that QZ is a quite relaxed envirement for sharing. Meaning that in here you can get away with a lot more then let's say Dimeadozen (where for example you will have to cut the God Save The Queen outro from concerts to be allowed to share). But we still have to draw a line - wether we like it or not. It is not that people at QZ want to be difficult, we are just concerned about the future of the website. Keep in mind that this website is also visited by people working for or with the band/recordcompany and Queen Productions/EMI/Hollywood/Parlophone etc etc have made website owners lives difficult for a lot less then publishing copyright protected music.

Thanks for understanding - and also for your good intentions with the share! ;-)
