Is anyone else wondering why this interview is on the Mercedes-Benz site? I mean, it's nice that his book's being publicized, but what does a car company have to do with classic rock guitarists or stereo-photography?

It's in it because the interviewer, Rob Halloway, is a massive Queen fan (I take credit for indoctrinating him).

Rob is UK PR manager for Mercedes, and was in S.A on business when Brian and Roger were there for the 46664 concert. I got a voice mail during "The Call" (I think) and then he phoned me the next day to say how he was sitting outside a bar with his collegues when members of the Queen crew came in, and they started talking and gave Rob tickets to the gig, and he got invited back to the band hotel afterward. He spent 2 hours talking with Brian and Roger on and off!!!

Since then, he's kept in with Brian's driver and supplied him with cars for the tours etc.

On the last tour he arranged for us to get back stage at the nottingham gig and I got to shake Brians hand!!! Unfortunately he didn't talk much, and didn't remember Rob, but it was still great.

Rob also keeps in with Brian's PA, and so set up this interview, because he wanted to and he can!!!
