Queen London, UK Wembley Arena September 5, 1984 AUD > Master Cassette > 1st Gen Cassette > ? > WAV > CDR (x) > WAV (GoldWave pitch/speed correction, re-tracked) > FLAC level 8 This is the classic Freddie Mercury birthday show with numerous references to the occasion, including him stopping the show part way through Love Of My Life to read a greeting card. While 'first gen' was the given lineage, there is a notable change in quality (i.e. tape generation) at the beginning of the guitar solo. Disc 1: 1) Machines (tape) 2) Tear It Up 3) Tie Your Mother Down 4) Under Pressure 5) Somebody To Love 6) Killer Queen 7) Seven Seas Of Rhye 8) Keep Yourself Alive 9) Liar 10) It's A Hard Life 11) Staying Power 12) Dragon Attack 13) Now I'm Here 14) Is This The World We Created? 15) Love Of My Life 16) Stone Cold Crazy 17) Great King Rat / keyboard solo [cut] Disc 2: 1) keyboard solo 2) guitar solo 3) Brighton Rock (ending) 4) Another One Bites The Dust 5) Hammer To Fall 6) Crazy Little Thing Called Love 7) Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting 8) Bohemian Rhapsody 9) Radio Ga Ga 10) I Want To Break Free 11) Jailhouse Rock 12) We Will Rock You 13) We Are The Champions 14) God Save The Queen http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BO249Q51 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YTIZ5N97 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H3OJFQK7 Enjoy, and keep it lossless!

The performance of It's A Hard Life was very good in this show. It was very enjoyable to listen. Freddie hit the high notes in the opening lines and sang the rest of the song with a lot of feeling.

I listened to the WAV files, and I notice that the volume is very very low (quite inaudible), and there is also a lot of hiss.... I wonder if my FLAC frontend doesn't work or maybe my ears... =) anybody could be so kind to make a hiss & volume project on this show? It would be very appreciated...thanks in andvance

Thanks a lot for this share : ) Do we have cover art for this?
I don't want to be nasty but let's just say Robbie Williams is no Freddie Mercury. -John Deacon And neither is Paul Rodgers. -ParisNair

I listened to this one last week-end and it seems the cdrs have some copy errors, especially on CD2 where there are scratchs here and there. Yet, nothing major...

I have not listened again to the recording but just some random songs on the second disc. As far as I remember, there are not errors on the first disc, even if i need to verify again. I localized at least one slight click at 0:58 on Brighton Rock reprise, one bad click at 1:24 on AOBTD and another bad one at 0:28 on WWRY. I'm sure there are others, sometimes several on some songs. Is it the same on your disc? It is not a big deal as if the errors are also on your disc, it can be easily fixed but if your copy is clean, it's better!
